Sedans are definitely faster than an SUV on roads so please don't be disappointed. On a mud and dirt road you will pass by a Civic X easily and with speed.

Unichip could help you there perhaps. But then there would be some ultra turbo variant of any other vehicle that might still overtake your fortuner...so enjoy your ride for what its meant to be..
