So the difference between top of the line variant sigma is 3.5 lacs. I booked V variant in February-21 and the tentative delivery month is July-21, given price smaller price difference can I change my booking from V to Sigma? Appreciate guidance here.

I also booked V in January and have delivery month of June. Called my dealership to inquire if the variant can be changed. Dealership is saying that I’ll have to cancel my June booking and will get Sigma in November.

You have to cancel existing booking and get a fresh Sigma booked.
IMHO, with such less price difference now, there is no point in getting a V.
Sigma has a lot more to offer for a mere 3.5 lakh difference.

Yes. Same 1GD-FTV 2020 engine.
It has more torque, more hp than previous 1GD.
There is a new larger turbo, balncer shaft and a water cooled intercooler.

That's not what I meant - sorry for the confusion.
Power up and Torque up is applicable for both Revo and Fortuner. However, only the Fortuner comes with a Balance Shaft to improve NVH during idling and acceleration.

Intercooler remains air-cooled. Only Euro 6 models have watercooled intercoolers (related to emissions regulation - no effect on power figures).
