Alhumdulillah got my car a few days ago. Few differences i felt between my 2017 Fortuner and this one are:
Slightly softer suspension, dont know what tweak was done but I feel ride is softer than the old one.
Apple car play is a massive plus. Google maps are really handy when you see them on screen.
DRL’s something strange is that the DRL in headlamps are not turned on with ignition. They work only in day time when headlights are off and they turn off when you turn the headlights on.

DRL stands for DAY-Time Running Light not night time. DRLs are super bright so they should not be on with the headlights. If headlights are on then it means its nighttime.

Not true. Many international cars including german vehicles, DRL’s turn on with the ignition and remain on during night time too.

Yes, but they do dim down a bit when the headlights are turned on. Some turn on when hand brake is released (Grande). Never seen one which shuts off completely when headlights are on.

Those DRL's become dim then and work as a style element at night.

The DRL function in the new Fortuner are by design.

The DRLs in the headlamps will only turn on in the day-time, with the parking brake down, car out of Park and with daylight. The position lamps/clearance lamps have moved at the bottom and will turn on whether night-time or day-time (but with the parking brake down).

Previous model's DRLs functioned both as DRL and clearance lamp, that's why they remained on at all times.

Fellows plz advise if Fortuner G FL is Value Fr Money provided itz features and price?? Main differences in 4x4 n 4x2G version?? Wat i compared on Toyota's website wz 4x4 vs 4x2, Auto Tail Gate, Rims Size,Dark Interior?? Anything noticeable i am missing here??

And any idea about itz availability?? Toyota website shows delivery fr November so to how mch extent is that online availability tool is true??

G is the best value for money. Website shows tentative delivery, which generally is quite dependable. Sigma customers are facing delivery issues but delivery of Petrol variants has been ok.

Hello Pak wheelers, So booked a Sigma 4 in March with delivery date of September. What is the current status on deliveries ? If June delivery is coming in August as seen from another member, it’s a long wait time. Do IMC compensate for delayed deliveries ?

I was told by indus customer service representative that for my booking of Feb ,Kibor +3 % is applicable on partial payment from May .
Question is i did full payment in mid May , that also by the time of invoice has also exceded two months or 60 days, now God know what they ll pay. but i heard them saying repeatedly we ll compensate for late delivery.

I just contacted someone from Toyota and they said that generally we are on track and only a few cars are being delivered later than schedule. Let me know how the compensation process goes ?
