To be honest if fuel average isn't an issue, I would 10 times pick up a Tundra 5.7 V8 2013-2015 over a new Fortuner. Prado in this price range would be a 2011-2013 Model 2.7 TX most probably. But Fortuner is completely not worth 1.3 Crore at all.

It will sell well even at 15-16 Million, it's the only option that a consumer has for a brand new 0 meter SUV. I wouldn't buy it just because I would get nightmares that it was 60 Lac in 2018 and now its 1.3 Crore.

My PBO has delivery after July, I paid full amount in last price hike where they were giving an offer to pay 50% increase in RSP of March 22. So I have to pay 50% of current price hikes again? Is that what it means...

Tundra will be LHD, and its too wide and long for our traffic , one thing I love about fortuner is that its less wide than prado etc means easy maneuverability in rush traffic and its longer than prado meaning somewhat ok bootspace when 3rd row seats are open.

I don't see fortuner demand declining in near future especially since prado being CBU can't be bank financed & most corporate sector cars are bank financed.
Fortuner being the only bank leaseable 4x4 these days has also played an important role in its massive demand imo.
