Went to the showroom today, toyota demanded that I should pay 17 lacs (2 lacs extra) instead of 15 lacs even though i paid cvt tax. Those who didnt pay the tax toyota is demanding 21 lacs ( over 3 lacs extra) instead of 18.8 lacs

went to the exchange market today, no one was buying dollars even for 220pkr, on the flipside everyone was looking to sell their usd

I'll now wait atleast 3 weeks till i make my final payment (of the car) as pkr is expected to appreciate more now, moreover these favourable conditions mean that the IMF full tranche is imminent

Well that "paisa jaldi nikalana chahta" actually helped me lol

My PBO delivery was pulled up from november to August
As many dealerships actually appreciate early full payments made by the costumer. Furthermore if i didnt pay full payment before 15th july I would be entitled to pay 1.59 crore.

The dude also said that because of the delays, May cars were being delivered in june. June cars were being delivered in july. July cars will be delivered by August.
Don't remember anyone saying about a 3 month delay.

Sir why to worry...it is still under warranty. Just give dealership a visit. Don't tell it comes ones but inform it has repeatdly appeared as otherwise they will send you back giving some weird reasoning, even if they send you back insist to register your complaint as that would be helpful even after expiry of warranty as you told them already. Otherwise If they take that then let them to do their job...that is whole benefit to buy 0 meter vehicle. Peace of mind.

Yes, I apologise. but trust me he would have no other way. It seems which I may be wrong that you don't have experience of dealing withdealerships but they are also right to some extent they have a daily routine to deal with customers who just pop in to satisfy their doubt so they just turned them back unless it is some serious and repeat issue. In side line have you noticed when there is robbery in very small house but still to police it is reported of more than 20 Tola gold and more than 10 lack cash despite no way it seems that from such small house such value can be found but poor victims are helpless unless they lie because there is certain value after which police register FIR and otherwise for less value it is nothing and on pressure max FIR of theft no daccoty. And you know very well what is difference between daccoty and theft....after theft you are in state of annoyness but after daccoty you are in frighting state. So victim lies and get his FIR register. Unfortunately here as well you have to twist to get you case be heared otherwise come again and we will see is standard response unless you are regular customer and known to give generous tips. Again I apologise for my unethical advise whose purpose was to help him and nothing else.

Your point makes sense. It's Pakistan we are talking about where if you speak the truth, noone will bother. We all know that in case you tell dealership that an issue has happened only once, what will be the standard response from them. Noone likes to work here, we hate that. So unless an issue is blown out of proportion, only then it will be taken up seriously for an investigation by dealership. It's unfortunate why our society is like this, but that's what it is.

Ok guys this is the third time i'm bringing this up as i've again gathered enough motivation to get rear grab handles installed in fortuner , does anyone know contact or name of any shop which can provide Revo b pillar inner plastic along with grab handles in isb/rwp SULTAN KA KHO especially , I'm just trying to avoid roaming all of sultan ka khu for hours

This is such an important mod that dozens of people must have done this already!! and i'm highly disappointed that saad from sehgal motors is not cashing out on this opportunity to provide us low cost Chinese B pillar inner plastic with grab handles

They have to revise prices. Once dollar USD parity touches 180, Fortuner Legender is expected to drop to 115, which is a sweet spot. At the moment, the prices are insane and even talking to some folks in Toyota, it appears they are convinced that Fortuner should never be more than 120-130, otherwise it canablizes prado market.

Btw the payment mentioned before is due before 14th august, otherwise full price has to be paid

There is a guy in Karachi, who has all such brand new parts of Toyotas in stock and supply only to Shops as B2B. He must have all the replacement parts for this conversion.
