You can notice almost all parts of the locally assembled cars have marker marks or signatures on non exposed surfaces. Mostly are not QC marks they are done by the stores and line supervisors so that the parts may not be sold in local market.

In imported cars only QC marks are found.

10,000kms on the odo now for my fortuner sigma4 2022 and i can't seem to get fuel avg any better than 9km/l in the city. I drive with a very light foot. Have tried econ and normal mode. Makes no difference for me. What could it be??? Or is this what everyone else is getting too?? My old revo with a 1kd did 9.5km/l in the city consistently. The gd is supposed to be better!

you can actually cross a 6 inch divider with a yaris. lol.

just saying, i am a big fan of toyota SUVs and you are right there is no comparison of this robust machine with crossovers. crossovers are basically elevated sedans.

Drive in Normal mode. Keep ECO mode for cruise control driving only. Sport mode only once in a blue moon.
It should easily return +10 in city, +13 on motorway and +14 on highway

Tried that... I also get 10 max, and it's not the display where I'm checking from. I'm measuring between a full tank until reserve light turns on.

most people rely on the odo reading only. Also try using liqui moly common rail fuel additive in prescribed quantity. I noticed better economy on my diesel with it. Mine is 1kd.

also engine oil should be 5w30 as per car manual.

Even if its 9 10 or 11 its still an amazing average for a vehicle of this size, so enjoy it
