Got my Black Fortuner on 26 Jan... Drove for abt 1500 kms and have following observations:-
a. Poor factory alignment and needs to be re-done.
b. Very hard suspension.. u can feel every jerky spot on the road.
c. Pick in both Eco and Normal modes is too sluggish.
d. Steering is quite hard.

You will feel a lot better after 5000kms... Is it your first SUV... Also try 28 psi with your stock tyres..
Your fortuner is filled with Petron plus 10w 30... At 5000kms checkup change it with..the best World can get PAO.. Don't even think Mobil 1 or liqui Molly

For now you can swap yout tyres with 275/60/18 or 265/65/18 -difficult size to find. Your tyre are new so swap wouldn't hurt much.
285/60/18 the V8 size also fits and easily available but avoid Geolanders as they rub. But improves ride quality instantly & looks great too... I am having performance tyres 285/60/18 Ecsta STX Kumhos... No issue! 18000kms + done

According to the rumour I got from one of my sources (no comments or guarantee of authenticity from my end) there is no V6 but a total of 4 variants being offered with one base model for petrol and diesel each. Addition of push start and 2 TRD Sportivo for each, so 4 variants.

Training brochures and dealers briefing next week. Price hike for base model predictably 2 lakh or so.

2.8 diesel in all aspects except the noise.. Can't match the quietness, smoothness , overall sophistication, ease of maintenance & long life of the 2.7 petrol variant.

In India TRD model is just cosmetic change, we may get the same.

The rim size doesn’t look big. Rather I would say its looking even smaller like 17 compared to 18, probably because of the design and color maybe.

Isn't the TRD suspension firmer/stiffer/'sportier' than regular Toyota oem, which itself happens on the stiff side in Fortuner..

the last TRD was just a cosmetics package with a more expensive price tag. I think now that's what they are going to offer again.

18" and yes they look smaller.. Don't know why? May be black color or the design... Same Dunlops offered.
Good part is addition of rear wheel disc brakes on the already superb fortuner brakes.

Suspension is expected to be bouncy in contrast thai counterparts where steering is sharp & suspension gets stiffer & sportier with TRd.. Agri Autos is also adding a stabilizing bar so TRD variants will somehow handle better due to reduced body roll & traction control , brake better and look better.

They are not apparently doing as no 20" alloys or firming already stiff suspension... Instead making it absorbent like corollas...
Pakistani corollas are the softest in the world!

Sethocracy rules... Indus protypes of Fortuners had front cams and 2nd row climb assist bar handles but production units had them missing.. You never know till the end!
