yes - this is normal as the ECU has detected a loss of vehicular acceleration (from the SRS unit accelerometer) and the wheel speed info from the ABS unit - it will do such.

This wont be felt when the car is under acceleration load to maintain high speed. But will be felt quite nasty when the car is gently tootling along.

I hope you got find a solution. I personally wont think of it too much and add some CVT compatible friction modifier for the TCC.

Alright so after above responses seems like must give a try to cvt additive Before doing anything else that can harm the system.

It seems to find Difficult to get a one in pakistan , cant find on Internet. Mostly are for Normal at not cvt.
Anybody knows where to get and which one?
Liqui moly Transmission additive can work with these cvts ? Anybody

One can add ceratec in transmission but i'm not sure about cvt.

Lubegard makes the best additives for transmissions, They recently started selling their CVT one (yellow bottle) - its really fantastic for TCC drone.

but it wont repair worn metal parts - it doses the fluid to replenish lost additives.

I dont trust this xado additive - I got it as a sample and it was useless.

Right , alot of positive review's about xado everywhere. Lets wait and watch. About the issue : Its 100% coming from Tcc Flex lockup. I am not the only one facing it. There are many toyotas owners who have faced it.

what i read from above the habitual coasting mode have locked the torque converter and random NORMAL drive attempt cause the JERK.

The tcc is facing stiction issues, which is hugely magnified by driving like a turtle

Didn't you checked X-1R Premium CVT treatment.... i think it will be better than Xado.

I asked some friends to bring it up as its price is 20$ but shippment cost is 1.5 times 32$. Ebay

Changed CVT-i fluid today. Odo 38,085 kms, Time lapsed 25 months.
Measured the cvt fluid which came out was 2 liters. Filled in same amount.
Cost 7,500 rupees . 2 liters cvt-fe fluid still with me.

Just pouring back same amount isn't the right way.. it is a jugaar.. CVTf volume expands based on temperature. You can't say you filled it to the right amount from draining hot expanded volume... And putting in cold fluid...
