So here are the Following details :-
Some background information
- No check engine Light.
- No trouble codes.
- Maximum fuel efficiency.
- All Fuel systems ok
- Car Judder or shakes badly around 20-30-40 speed
- When u brake sometimes car jumps forward for a second.
- Sometimes its worst sometimes its Normal.
So its Torque converter lockup problem. It seems like the torque convertor Locks and Unlocks without any proper pattern. The car jerk worst as soon as TCC lock unlock and lock so the car shakes like its 1950 model.
Attached is Pdf file i found on internet (toyota Camry at TSB) i know they r Differnt technologies but The problem is with tcc so doesn't matter alot , I did the same test as it is And found the results are same. Slu soleniod and Lockup should be directly related but sometimes they are showing inverse response. (Slu is on and lockup off or lockup off slu on etc)
Now lets come to my personal test and observations :-
In active test tab There is option to control lockup :-
During drive i run that active test :- at 60 speed.
I switched lockup off, all was fine. As soon as i hit it Lock on the car jerked and shuddered like it does always. This shows yes its lockup problem...
I have found on internet that usually cars lockup tcc at 40 to 60 speeds but while checking live data i found the tcc start lockup at even 10-20speed. That is quite strange i guess.
The cvt temp was also very good 180F.
Locking and unlocking again and again at 10-20 speeds this seems very strange to me.
Sometimes on lock unlock car doesn't jerk at all - But sometimes it shakes worst i think this happens when Slu and lockup are Working inversely.
When we
Cvt pressures , all calibration , values , G sensors , Fluid flush oem way , temp ( All is fine and done ).
Few days back i was not the member of pw forum and didnt even know about tc , i spend days and nights doing this all stuff And now i hope the Information i have provided must be enough for any professional to get to The root Reason.
All detailed videos of live data and ss recordings can be provided if its not enuf (attached files)
