Rain sensing wipers have been offered in Top of line Corolla since 2011 mid along the launch 1.6 Altis SR be it auto or manual. I know because I had 2011 1.6 SR Manual.

Altis Grande is manual

Altis cvti 1.8 doesn't has sunroof, pushstart, leather seats, climate control, rear mirror link, rain sensing wipers, automatic headlights (maybe) and a few other goodies.

This is insane. What made IMC deprive Altis 1.8 of all those features? Lol, who knew buying a simple hardtop to save money would've been deprived of those features as well.

Yes Grande is value for money, ideally difference should be of the sunroof only.

1.8 non grande has some things better then 1.6 only.

The engine and transmission, sports mode, cruise control.

Retractable mirrors,

Projector headlights with Auto cutoff lights ( when you take the key out lights go off).

Altis seats but in fabric (rear recliner and 30:40 split).

And android panel.

Foglamps with switch on headlight stalk.

1.8 seats are different. It's hi grade fabric and super comfy/soft. I have 2016 immobilizer 1.8 cvti.
In 2016, difference between this and grande is climate control, paddle shifters, leather interior, rain sensing wipers and driver seat height adjustment.
1.6 seats are different.

Yes I meant Grande seats but in fabric. That's why I mentioned reclining and 30/40 folding seats.

Purchasing a car depends upon preferences and money. The more you spend, the more you get. The less you spend, the less you get. That also proves that none of the cars is bad or good in general. There are still those people around us who are happy with cars with no ABS, no AC, no Power windows, and even no Power steering. We have to live life keeping things in balance.

I thought Altis 1.8 didn't have Cruise Control as well? Someone mentioned that sometime ago.

Naaaa. It got a label of cruisetronic at the back instead of grande which means cruise control and tiptronic.

All opinions are good, but surprisingly, they don't seem to match each other...! Some say Grande CVTI is manual, some say automatic, some say, it has not sunroof, some say it hasn't, and so on. I have decided to consult a Toyota expert at Toyota Franchise and request him to remove confusions.
