Hi aftab87, shed light here I am experiencing the same problem you had 2kd-ftv, d4d engine, it revs upto 3k and engine check light comes on. its same problem as you described above, Your solution was to change Pressure Limiter, where is it located? or you mean Suction control valve that mounts on Fuel Pump stat supplies injectors, Please send me the pdf file that has diagrams I will be able to know the gadget that is troubling me at the moment . This problem is because of the low pressure in the fuel injection system - injectors, common rail, diesel pump. All 3 should be changed to overcome the problem once and for all

Before getting any mechanical parts replaced, first of all get the wiring checked. Strip all engine wiring and get it checked for short circuits / exposed wires. Sometimes error codes are generated because of short circuits / exposed wires and the vehicle goes into safe mode
