not that i heard of, my cousins, friends and also both bro in law have new fortuner 1gd and revo 1gd....all of them r fine. My bro in law fortuner 1gd is now closing to 20k km with no prob.

i got steering shake at 5k KMs, then send for brake servicing...served well untill 20k..

now wobbling is back on high speed deceleration. brake squeel is also back on low speeds.

Indus needs to up its game on brakes!

have u change your revo brake pads? i did on 15k km as brakes were squeeling and wobbling on high speed.

Hey, your rig looks fantastic. A couple of questioms; for the fender flares, did you have to get them altered in order to get them fitted because of the Bullbar or did you get them in a piece like this? I wanted to get the exact same ones but it's all in one piece so I would have to get it cut and I'm doubtful about how good the finishing would be.

How has the Bullbar affected your fuel average?

And those silver bangle things on your Bullbar, did they come with or did you purchase them afterwards?

It had a Steinbauer chip, EGR blank plate and a 20x20 custom map on it. Visual mods later on were UAE-specific stainless steel front bumper (Google it). I'm not into deviating away from OEM++ looks. Just like a R34 V-spec looks best in its element. Plus I have to keep it looking official for certain reasons. Both of my Revos are sold now. I have, since then, gone back to a Euro Hilux and a Landcruiser 100. And I personally am not comfortable driving an autobox SUV/Ute. Engine braking is a huge component of my driving style (my brake pads last forever, flex discs are another story). A shot of my current ride:

Wat does this spacer do? I got Ironman springs and amada shockabsorbers which has increase height by 0.5inch and the ride has gotten soft/comfort, recently I have done over 25k km in 18-19months.

Sorry just saw this. Why? Because they were toast. Average life-span of OEM pads for me was 10-12000kms tops. I have no idea of the cost now, but i bought them from Rawal Motors on GT road and replaced them myself.

For the thread: Just came across a Revo G MT with 200,000kms recently. Was used (Read: Raided) for 2 years almost. 1KD-FTV let go of its injectors around 150K kms. Eventually the injectors seals got shot = oil sump pickup screen got shot = Top end oil starvation. The engine still runs and the truck is still on duty but it smokes and shakes (knocks, I know it has a spun bearing) badly. Other than this, rear diff lost its pinion gear and axle seals were shot as rear wheels were coated with diff oil several layers over. However it must be noted that the truck had bent bashplates and bent rear axles (Use your wildest imagination here). The truck is still running. It will be used till the 1KD goes up in flames or throws a rod through the sump.
