Specs on the "V" variant page show that the AC is manual, whereas it is actually automatic. Other errors include that there are no child restraint system, no immobiliser, no coolbox, no 220V socket, WHEREAS, all these features are actually there in the "V" variant, as I have personally inspected this variant.

Leaf springs rear suspension repeated against vigo customer feedback to introduce coil polylink in the G & V trims as they are less likely to be loaded and bought by commercial loaders ... TMC angry on over Indus and is getting fined further restricted to export leftovers units of fortuner and Vigo in Uganda - this caused a month delay for Revo and 2 months delay for Fortuner launch. Motorway police to be compensated with leftover Fortuner units.

I was able to dig out the following info about Revo's suspension, especially in comparison to the previous model's suspension, from an australian website 2016 NG Toyota HiLux in-depth review | Part 3: Suspension, load testing, off road and conclusion... | CarsGuide

The double-wishbone front suspension has a new thicker front stabiliser bar to increase roll stiffness. Wisely the front axle load capacity allows for a bull bar and a winch, which are two of the most popular accessories fitted by HiLux owners.

The leaf-spring rear suspension has been redesigned with longer leafs, wider spacing of the springs and revised attachment points. At 1400mm the new rear springs are 100mm (or 8%) longer hence more compliant in absorbing bumps, while the front attachment point has been moved forward by 100mm and lowered by 25mm in a key geometry change that improves steering response. The leaf springs are also mounted 50mm further apart. These changes, in conjunction with the slightly wider rear track and higher roll stiffness, increase cornering stability particularly when it’s carrying a load.

There’s also uprated larger-diameter shock absorbers all round, with damping curves calibrated for a flat ride and less impact harshness. The larger-diameter cylinders enable these shocks to generate increased control, with a shorter stroke to cope better with smaller vibrations and larger oil capacity to combat heat fade.

The rear shocks also have a new location. Previously rear-facing and located behind the axle, they are now forward-facing and mounted in front of the axle, to improve straight-line stability and service life.

Moreover, in comparison to the Vigo (previous model), the Revo has 52mm more ground clearance (279mm vs 227mm). Greater approach angle of 31 degrees (vs 30). Greater departure angle of 26 degrees (vs 23). Lower crawl ratios. 700mm wading depth.

The off-road performance of the rear suspension has also been improved as compared to that of Vigo, by increasing rear-wheel articulation to 570mm on both sides of the vehicle, which were previously 423mm on the left and 474mm on the right.

Going through the Dealership-IMC booking route was getting the Revo delivered in February, when booked in November (last week). However, if one is going through Meezan Ijarah, the delivery is prioritised since MBL has an agreement with IMC for prioritised deliveries on full payment at day one of booking, in this case, it is 30 days.
Regarding quality comparison between PKDM and imported models, I had the opportunity to personally observe and compare the exterior and interior build quality of Revo, as stated in post #21 above. Other than the difference in features, there is a clear difference in build quality of both with respect to the following:

1) Paint quality - reflection on the paint shows grains (uneven reflection edges) in PKDM while these are smooth like that in a mirror, in the imported model.

2) Interior plastics are of better quality, however, IMC "has" improved considerably in plastics quality in comparison to their previous PKDM Vigo.

3) Leather quality, stitching design & quality and leather fitting. Almost at par with the imported on all three counts.

4) Braking, driving experience ? Not in a position to comment on that.

I understand that the difference between top of the line model of PKDM (42 lacs) and Imported (60 lacs), ranges between 17 to 20 lacs. After having sat in and compared both the PKDM and Imported Revo models, it is my personal opinion, that the difference certainly does not justify dishing out additional Rs. 17 to 20 lacs for the imported. There's also the aspect of having no technical support (mechanical) for the newly introduced 2.8L imported revo engine here in Pakistan, but that's another discussion.

Thanks for sharing Marks' link. It does look nice and purposeful, however, can you or anyone share about durability and build quality aspects of these canopies produced by Marks? I'll keep looking around for the sliding one as it'll be useful for me instead of the lifting lid.

Haven't driven the imported revo. But the drive and feel of the local revo was certainly better than or equal to older imported models.

Sir drive is very good. I'm sure you'd like it. You'll feel that the engine is quieter compared to invincible, steering is much softer, shifting feels smoother as well. Brakes are amazing this time around, stopped immediately. The suspension is much softer compared to older Indus vigos, but not sure if same as invincible or not as it was just a short test drive I had on a plain road. Seats are really comfortable. The car is a great improvement by Indus and deserves appreciation. Much more worth buying than imported revo as there's a big difference of 2-2.5 million.

As per TCM guys, the suspension is the same as international model. The only difference is in the features mentioned in my post 21 above and the engine. Plus IMC hasn't made the roll bar standard but included it as an add-on.

Really yearned for traction control but ... rear differential is welcome!
Cabin is a 100% upgrade. ..ride height seating position. ..seats material all way better almost equal to thai at 2 million less.

It is front camera "ready". This means that it's multimedia unit and software will accommodate front camera, however, a front camera isn't included in the stock unit. You have to buy and install it yourself.

The number of sockets are lesser in local model as compared to international model.
