what about rear seats of hilux?i am asking it bcz i used to have 1994 surf its front seats r excellent but rear seats r very less spacious as compared to pajero or prado and same it the problem in old 1994 ssrx

80 series LC is one of the best lc's ever made.
But you will have to find in a mint condition.
If i were you. i would have considerd a Thailand model fully loaded vigo.
Get a used vigo. Stay away from oldies.

But i suggest u drive and feel a brand new hilux, and nothing else would appeal u :).
I like the CBU IMC imports interior better than thai VIGO's. its your choice however. a Truck and a SUV are a league apart.

and real life starts when you hit 200 and suddenly you need to stop and make an extremely sharp turn.

80 series will give you that instead of a rollover.

in short it will give you a kick start in life.

I will agree with most of the folks here i.e Hilux turbo is better caz its new !
For the car itself you must keep in mind the ride is very rough and bumpy afterall its not a luxury vehicle its basically designed for the rough terrain !
Landcruiser is much better but the problem is that model had its shot, it was a dream car of its time but now its just an old hag that will drain all your money on fixing and maintenance depending upon your usage and mind it the parts aint cheap its a landcruiser !
Dont forget to join the gym and do some good upper and lower back exercises before you buy the new Hilux !

You cannot compare the above two. One is a pickup truck which looks better if it's used by the guards. The other is a station wagon. The 80 series combines power looks and luxury. Get yourself a mint condition 80 series and I bet you will laugh why did you even think of comparing these two in the first place.

If I get a chance to pick from toyota crown (late 90s old but in good shape) and a new corolla, I'll pick the crown. I hope you got my point

Wider interior. Passengers in the back still have leg room even after the front seats are pushed to the back at the maximum. Falangs enjoyed the ride more because of the leg room.
The Vigo is a comfortable truck...plenty of room and feels like sitting in a car. I found the ride to be fairly smooth.
