Toyota in pajero

In Terms of Simplicity The Toyota 3CT with a decent inter cooler is absolute killer for a 1st generation with un believe able good mileage and excellent performance on highway and ease of availability of spares .
You also not have to change the gear box and any differential for that .

wht do u say abt 3S? people have put 3S in 5 door 1st gen, and they are quite satisfied with its performance and power :S, m confused :(.
I need an engine tht would be powerful,reliable, and economical as well. (whether it be petrol or diesel). M quite disappointed with the performance of my 4D56 engine, rest u know better abt mitsu's engine.

None of these engines is Bolt on fit in Pajero ...specially in Gen1 your choice is very limited because of Gear Box space limitation .

3s is a cheaper solution as you can still find a basic 3S around 50K ...but i recon 5S is a better option.
However 3Ct is a great engine for diesel lovers but its way costly ...a good 3C engine still cost more than 130K .

If you want to stay simple get a good 4D56 with intercooler (japanese one) not of Montero or else than its not a bad engine as one of my friend Taimoor have a 5 door pajero and he is happy .
