how much has it done on Pakistani Diesel?

it done 20k KM on pakistani diesel. i am also using toyota diesel injector cleaner, after every 3rd tank filling. this toyota diesel injector cleaner is available at toyota dealership RS.1700.

iam looking forward to the petrol version!! but had vigos for a long time yup the D4D isnt right for Pakistan but then depends some had problem some dont!! so far had a D4D LC prado uk spec it been driving fine and vigo havent given any problems yet even millage is over 50k on some were new when bought! but I have seen vigos in workshop with the problem and its is costly to repair!

2.7 vvti petrol version vigo is available in karachi it is cheap then 3L d4d. in my opnion d4d is much better and it is modren engine. D4d engine need care as i said before change the fuel filter at given intervals, clean air filter and use diesel injector cleaners after every 3rd tank filling, always use orignal denso filters and you will be fine

Ok just talked to toyota dealership

it has been launched

Price for fullyloaded is 2749000 its 2.5 D4D ....but the bad part is it is without auto transmission ...... Delivery is in febuary march ....i will visit dealership tomomorw...the salesman said it even has DVD (i donot know if he was confusing D4D with DVD :))......i wish they had launched it with auto transmission.....Lets see if the prices of imported vigo comes down as result of new policy

strange thing... I called up the contact number published in contact us section on the Toyota Indus website and was told that they have launched 2 variants and the prices were between 3.0 and 3.2 mil( cant recall the exact figures) can any one share a scanned brochure may be to put an to this confusion:)

i went to get info on the GLi, a Black one local assembled was standing there, looked gud enuff, it had Prado rims, i guess thats what some was reffering to you give 1.5 lacks and get 17inch rims, but i guess the other ones look better.

PS: Quality of Thai/Indonesian cars in not so very gud to ours, So if people liked the Thai quality, Pakistani ones are bound to be gud.

Well i went to dealership they didnot have any vigo with them and told me that the one they had is sold out.........how ever i managed to get brochur ...
there is no auto version the price of upsec is 2749000 delivery in jan/feb....

its with dual a/c and DVD player

BTW which is going to be more power full

though this one is 2.5 litre
but it has
75KW HP and torque 260Nm

where as 5L-E Diesel engines(previous imported one)

Was 3.0 litre

70kw and torque 195 NM

In the scanned brochure i see a standard 4 X 4 and an up-spec 4 X 4, i just talked to Toyota garden in Lhr and they confirmed that the prices are 2.749 M and 2.9 M respectively.

Strange i talked to toyota airport motors and they qouted twice price as being 2749000

Now i just checked with toyota walton they also said same up spec is for 2749000 and standard version is for 2349000

toyota walton number is 111008009

booked a hilux turbo d4d in grey full options paid 274900 i alwayz been a hilux lover other then a accord but for Pakistan hilux/vigo is best in my view i wold have normaly gone for a thai version auto 3.0 D4D but already had one thought lets try a local version out will be gr8 to compare them both as already have a thai vigo in black! delivery date is march which is cool with me as I aint in Pakistan till then!
