I don't agree with most people here. i think the 'largness' of the vehicle is not a flaw.

the only thing wrong with the vehicle is that it goes better with just 'UV' instead of 'SUV' or people career.

Its not sport but space can't be useless when you're carrying eight people with there stuff.

launched here in bahrain as well. Saw posters outside the main toyota showroom but didnt get a chance to check out the car. Butt ugly in the pics at least.

Talking about dimensions: Yes, its bigger than Land Cruiser 200 in all areas.

Talking about Engine: Both get 5.7l, V8

So it can be termed as the biggest SUV by Toyota.

welll toyota never ever used GMC idea or stuff like this..... though back then in 1990's GMC launched many of toyota cars and models under GMC's ford and pontiac and some other brands.... GMC has gained alot of success through toyota...and also Chevrolet has stated that if their loss went like this and if they would have to give off their CORVETTE.. then they said their choice is TOYOTA. because toyota can be the perfect father of corvette...

So a Sequoia is for "foolish" people but a Land Cruiser isn't?

The Sequoia is 3 inches shorter, 5 inches wider and 10 inches longer than the Land Cruiser. HARDLY noticeable size difference, but then again this is an online forum and people just stay stuff for reactions.

GMC's ford? Since when GMC owns Ford? And what you're talking of is the Joint Venture between Toyota and GM; NUMMI. In NUMMI plant following cars are now being produced:

Pontiac Vibe
Toyota Corolla
Toyota Tacoma

Guys Sequoia is not that big. Probably inch or two from LC but it is cheaper then LC. Big suv's are very useful for families with 5+ members. Here every body has to wear a seat belt so third row option is the must.
