I am living in Quetta, here mostly are fake oils,

The car was last serviced in Japan at 140K and now its at 141K.

How do you know that it was serviced in japan when the odo was on 140k.

Grab Mobil 1 0w40, liqui moly 5w40 synthoil hightech or some zic if you wanna go cheap from their official websites in Pakistan. You'll get authentic and original oil from them.

Because its an NCP car and i got it directly from Afghanistan and there is a servicing sticker on the car showing all the details of the last service.

I have Mark X 300G, 279000 km driven, engine is very smooth but reducing oil. I used 10-40 drove 1800 km and reduced almost 2liters but now someone referred me 20-50 and I am using it. Is there any role of viscosity in illuminating reduction?
Engine is completely sealed, no leakage at all and I feel there is a ring-piston issue. Can you advise me something in its solution.

A compression test will be better to determine the health of the engine.

It seems the problem is in valve seals or in piston rings, thick oil technically is not recommended.

Its normal for direct injection engines . Especially 4grfse (2.5) is high compression engine . It reduces oil by default 1L/1200 km . If oil consumption is within this range then its fine . Just use 5W-30 of good brand

If its normal then what should I do, should I keep on filling oil or should let it happen? Recently, I put 20-50 Total4000 and drive is even more smoother but dont know abt its future health.

you should change the brand and get its engine carbon cleaning done . its the main cause of high oil consumption. and very less mechanic knows here about it . secondly use good quality fuel from reputed pump !

Has any one had issues with tapping coming from possiblly vvti module thing on start up ? Had a mechanic put 10w30 in my 300g mark x then it started the tapping noise another person a repco said to put 5w40 so i tried that noise was still bad on start up now service is due again an the noise seems to be much better now that maybey the oil has thined out now im tryna decide should i run the 5w30 or thinner any one have any ideas what i should do or try to fix the tapping noise any advice an ideas will be much apreciated car has done 135000ks

And yes get tappet checked.
