and as for the topic...like someone said that who are we to compare...dude we are not at all comparing or challenging someones authority...its a general forum and you sure can discuss and compare cars......its not such a big deal
for me all goes fine .....be it toyota,bmw,mb,lexus ..every companys every car and its every variant have pros and cons ..no one can deny it...
BMW...someone mentioned something about sensors..i totally agree,bmw does need mechanic as every second day there is some ELECTRICAL fault ...rest ..all good ....driving pleasure,safety,built quality, user friendliness ..everything ..but stil there are quite a few cars better
for MB ....it rarely has electrical problem..infact from my personal experience, it is more reliable than bimmers..bt still i love bimmers though currently owning merc
toyota .......bimmers and mercs just cannot beat the reliability that toyota has, MARK X ..comfortable but just cannot be compared to 5 series, it can be compared to 3 series and c-class ...bt then there are models in 3series and C class which clearly leave MARK X in dust ...engine performance wise without the reliablitiy issue, bimmers and mercs are lot better ...no doubt at this
LEXUS...i got nil experience ..cant comment
and like someone said something about status....no freakin doubt ...even apart from pakistan ...5-series does have status which just cannot be compared to MARK X at all .....3-series,c-class and mark x ...status wise, kinda equal
so ...if i travel a hell lot....id always prefer MARK X ..and if i have good mechanic and hot pockets, id go for 3 series/c-class
as for 5 series ....its upper end model if ur comparing it with the above mentioned cars
dude...every review posted is different....the final verdict comes when all the agreeable points and non agreeable points are seperated....and those who post reviews, u cant say that they are the best .....every person on this planet is different...so it all comes to person
in looks...for me ..mark x sucks ..and so does 02 and before mercs and bimmers...the newer models are way better in looks and goodies than markx
i dont know for sure whether mark x is a successor of mark 2....bt im just in love with mark 2 ....like it said,it comes to person ..id prefer mark 2 98 model the one which does not have frame on windows over 09 3 series and c-class
but thats JUST ME
