Toyota or Caltex ATF......Advice Guys Plz

In Toyota Auto Trans should use only Geniune ATF, Caltex ATF is not meet requirement for Toyota, for this clue go to montgamry road at Aamir Auto buy Toyota's ATF DII then Go to Mr.Anser auto work shop (near alflah mall road ph:6305502) give him reff of my name, he knows about all these.

but are you sure its Toyota's ATF DII !!
what car have you used it in.
becuz I was told my AMer at amer autos today it needs to be T-4 for Prado.

since the surf & prado both have 1KZ engines.

Never use Caltex ATF

I made that mistake in my Altis, the transmission then gave a burning smell immediately after the change, it ruined the cars speed and gear changing efficiency.

Went to Toyota and changed it with their ATF (twice the price), but worth it (Y)
Car is now fine Alhamdulillah

I think Your car prob. takes dextron II

prob I am facing is does 97 prado take Dextron II or T-4 stuff.:s

If you cannot find Toyota DII at Aamir auto check it at Filter House "Defence or Montg Branch" ph:6365967 , also can be use T4 if DII not avail, actually DII is recommended B4 2000 models & T4 is after 2000 models but do'nt worry Toyota's geniune ATF far better then other ATF's.

Bro i changed the manual transmission oil for my 2D however the results seem ok except in the morning the gread changes are bit clunky.
i Used ZIC 5 gear oil considering the temperature range it supports. I think the functionality will improve further in summers.

but I think there is a big diff. between the transmission of a Prado-Auto and 2.OD, I had T. oil changed many times before in other cars also, but never ran into this type of problem.................. still trying to figure out the GRADE of oil to be used

meray pass hoti kash ... goto shell shell is good ... even i have seen many prados on shell pump changing oil or goto toyota use its orignal oil :o ... and ask toyota people which wud be better ...

I know not only these oils i know many others about auto's, i was also work on many engines hop up specially american V8's japanese diesels, suspensions modification & free flow exhaust making, own & drive many cars include Merc, Chevy, Nissan patrols, Toyota Surf & Suzukis also.
