Toyota passo 2007 fuel consumption

A few days back, I was struggling with the same issues. I was also getting the error code p0171.

The average I was getting was 9.5 km/l in the city and also on long, also the pick was very low.

I cleaned the fuel pump and also the fuel filter.

then I cleaned Cat, MAF sensor, and replaced Oxygen sensor 1 as it was not working.

After that now the average in the city is 16km/l and on long is 19km/l.

Kindly taught me the procedure that how I can enhanced the fuel average of my car as it is giving me 10 km/L in city and 13-14 on long rout with less weight

I have passo 2007 1.3 it’s a very good fuel average 15 in city without ac and 18 highway I recommend passo lovers just go 1.3 cc passo thanks

Back in 2022, it cost me 5K. Also, I changed the fuel filter.

Fuel average depends on how you maintain your vehicle. Use good quality Iradium plugs, good quality fuel, and understand the CVT gear. Don’t know about pre-2010 models but the models after 2010 are quite fuel economical and have the capacity to do 18-20 km/litre with a light foot if the car is well maintained. However, if one is installing 3 or 4 spark plugs ( depending upon the engine 1.0 or 1.3 ) of 1200 ruppees and then complaining about fuel economy, he doesn’t deserve the car at all. Moreover, a cleaned catalytic converter also plays a great role in bringing the best fuel economy as it ensures combustion efficiency.
