Toyota Passo dying while driving

i recently faced same situation in my car (not passo) and each and everything was checked and found OK - it was a weak set of ignition coils. actually coils are main thing to run an engine - if its weak, the situations like these come up. as per my understanding, the issue of bad fuel pump is of secondary nature here - but primarily it pertains to current. coils actually takes 12V from battery and steps up the current to thousands of volts-if Coil is weak, the current is NOT stepped up to desired operational level Voltage resulting in bad engine performance and sudden stalling of engine

Brother, my car (vitz-2008) also does the same and even engine check light turns on after driving for 10-15 KM. Regarding the engine check light also my observations are that now a days in morning since the temperature is down so it doesnt turn on in my whole ride of 55km (1:15 Min) to my office while on way back home in evening (4:PM) it turns on after 15-20 KM. so far i have applied the remedies but the vibration and check engine problems are there
1: Did complete tuning and cleaned/checked all those sensors/plugs/throttle etc that are suggested in various threads for this particular problem.
2: Rest the ECU through battery trick
3: Did computer scanning and removed error codes
4: Using high octane and normal fuel in 60-40 ratio.

Kindly share your suggestions/remedies please

you must check your ignition coils too (as i suggested to Passo pwner too). ignition coils if weak makes a car full of troubles even though each and everything else is working all right. a very strong current is MUST to keep the car running - a weak current will make the car stall

If the check engine light is on scan your ride and identify what error code is recorded in ECU and then find out that what error code means? In my case there is no check engine light or error code.

goto jamil autos 021 3476 1699 - ask them to open the fuel pump and remove filter from it. check it out

The vibration at low RPM is caused due to fuel starvation, as in drop in injector rail pressure or - Leakage in the Brake boaster vacuum. 1 can be solved by changing fuel filter, 2nd can be solved by changing boaster Pressure valve. which is like PCV valve. ONLY ONE WAY OPEN

Actually i had same problem passo dyes completely non of the electronics work not even any light so looked up and couldn’t find anything but one day I realized it was the fuse on the battery terminal that kind a melts when it gets little heat then I solder it and from than it never had any issue

start from fuel pump under the rear seat, check for the FPR & Filter it may be partially clogged and fail to maintain pressure in fuel rail at high engine rpm ( RPM )

changed the fuel filter and cleaned the injector with carb cleaner spray. cleaned the cat converter there is a tad bit difference but stiil not upto the satisfaction.

when you press sudden acceleration on neutral or parked, engine makes a gurgle or knock type of sound, then increases rpm. the air filter was ok according to the mechanics.plugs also seem ok.

my passo 2012 90k driven is causing almost similar type of problem since the hot weather started..
when i drive the first 5 or 6 km the pick is normal but after that the car gets heavy and it seems the engine is taking load and making weired noise. tuned several times,air filter changed,CAT cleaned but not getting clue what to do...
