Toyota Premio 1.8 strange sound when accelerating

I still think that its engine knocking which happens due to pre combustion try using fuel from a good pump and hi octane and then check.

i just bought an Allion 2010 model A15, driven about 100 000 km already. made inquiry about cvt from pre owner but never been changed. one of my friend got premio 2007 new shape, he change cvt oil and the gear box started giving issues, at last he change the gear box. another friend of mine changed cvt oil from toyota in its axio, and discovered some delay in shifts. now i m worried about my car, what to do about cvt oil.
kindly suggest....

Changing the right cvt oil never creates problem. I used geniune cvt oil (in silver can toyota japanese variant) gears and shifting is working fine as it should. The noise actually in my case is from what i came to know is from whether tappets or water body pulley. Let me know ur engine specs and model

Alhamdulillah. The car is in perfect condition right now, i have changed cvt oil twice in last 6 months.
I got Allion 2010 model, its A15 varient means 1500cc, i have installed wheel control button including sterio and climate control my self. I did all the wiring for the cruise control but unfortunatelly 1NZ fe ecu dosnt support cruise control.
Now i m looking for ecu which supports cruise control in 1NZ FE

Same problem here I have premio 1.5 when I accelerate high car make sound heavy I have changed the head assembly and also gear and cat but issue not solved
