Hello everyone,

I am planning to buy a car. My options are as under:

1. Premio (2004-2006)
2. Mark 2 Grande (2004-2006)

Which one to go for. i thought of asking this from the premio owners to get a clearer idea. My heart says Mark 2 but my mind says Premio.... advice please.

AoA All. I am considering Premio 2003-5 1.5/1.8 but mostly on Pakwheels all discussions are about 2006 or above regarding millage comfort and whole experience. Mostly many people would prefer these later models of Premio over civics.

Kindly if anyone has experience please share some reviews about 2003-2005 Premio 1.5 /1.8 and what they lack as compared to later much appreciated models.

Hi, I gave my Premio 2002 X 1.8 for a general at the wash and they took a day and a half.
When I went and started the car Battery Light stayed on which I thought that battery is down since the light was dim but then realized that generator isn't working (Which I fixed a few months ago). But when I started driving and applied brakes it was making noise and ABS and Handbrake light in the dashboard illuminated as well. I took it to an electrician who was the only one available after 10 PM. He changed the generator and the battery light went off along others but when I was driving home the brakes were still making noise and ABS/Handbrake lights illuminated again. I called him and he told me that due to low battery power ABS might not work since it won't have the power it needs and the brakes make noise after car wash due to spray on the wheel and brake which will go away. Told me to drive for a day or 2 and see if it goes away.

Anyone who has experienced it? I have searched on the Internet and it says the same that low battery can cause ABS and handbrake lights on dashboard.

I recently asked a Premio F owner and He said his car gives 14-15 km/liter with ac with in city whereas I have personally experienced that 1.8 X gives 10-12 km /l with in city with ac

My experience has been 11 to 12.5 within city for Premio 1.5 with AC. That guy you asked probably drives real carefully since Premio is capable of giving such numbers provided extremely light pedaling.

now i understand why people are such big fan of it. to damn smooth. would definetly rate the driving experience above local corollas and civics
anyways went to pindi junkyard to search for a clean headlight
was shocked to find out prices ranged from 80,000 to 125,000 for the hid ones (for a single piece)

Hi guys recently purchased premio 2009 1.8 xex....very satisfied...switched from Altis 1.6 sr....it's drive is just like a German car...I can feel the heaviness plus the cabin is very quiet and very fuel efficient

These are for 2nd generation.
but i have 1st gen. 2007 model premio.

1st gen. came uptill April/May 2007.
From June 2007 onwards, the 2nd gen. was introduced.

this is exactly what i was going to write too.
that apart from the fuel consumption, its luxury features are very nice too.

and i guess mostly those people can feel the real difference of premio's quality who drove Corolla of 2000-2008 models. (i am talking about the first gen. premio).

its AC, shock absorbers, cabin quality, seats, noise cancellation, smoothness, etc. everything is nice
