In summers the batteries get hot quicker and loose charge quickly.
Any battery if it gets too hot it will start loosing charge quicker

So yes mileage of Hybrid will drop in summer

Yes, thats why you should use AC full time in summers.
Lower cabin temperature keeps the battery cool as cabin air in circulated to cool the hybrid battery.

AoA guys I recently purchased Aqua. A great little car.
It came with 175/65/15 tyre size. I want to change tyres because they are worn out.
Now should I stick to oem size or move to 185/65/15?
Will this cause any problems to fuel economy? And lastly will this touch side walls around tyres?

You get good tyres in 185/65 r15 and are not a problem for side wall touching but you will have to compromise on fuel economy for 1 to 2 litres per km....

I shifted from 175/65/15 to 185/55/16. Frankly I had no issue with the milage.
The car has ample clearance for tyres like 195.

However, you will just be raising the car a bit;

How about 185/60?

I think 185/65 will a bit of a burden on fuel economy.

Regarding the fuel average in summers, yes its noticeable already. Keep the battery fan vent clean. I used to get upto 22-23km/l in winters+spring season with mild AC. Now it has dropped to somewhat 21-19.5km/l. Also depends a lot on how heavy I am on the paddle. I love to throttle this little machine.

Right, the ride is bit stiffer. But car is now roller coaster..
As for the fuel economy, it depends upon steady foot and traffic.
Despite this I get good economy.

with stock tyres i am getting 24.5 in city with AC. I have noticed that AC drastically reduces fuel efficiency.
I will definitely check market regarding tyres. I am planning to change to 185/60

Need suggestion regarding engine oil and transmission oil...

Currently using AQUA since 2015 and this is my second aqua

from day one i have been using Kixx 0w20.. faced no complains no issue. but need a 2nd opinion

is there any better engine oil should in 0w20 category ?

should i stick to kixx, someone recently suggested 0w20 of TOTAL

and regarding transmission oil which brand should be used ?

As per my findings, your selection is good for Kixx and yes Total is also another good option along with Liqui Moly (a little expensive though).

As for transmission oil you only need to change it after 100,000 KM, ATF-WS transmission oil from Toyota works best.
