Guys im facing the same dilemma of mileage... since i have changed my tyres my mileage had dropped from 24 to 18 and 19.... should i clean my cars battery fan? And should i go for engine tuning and changing plugs as my car is now above 100k driven and manual says to change plugs at 125k... tyres i have installed the same size of 175/65/r15 euros..

Yes, Check the battery vent and if dirty clean it. Check spark plugs, air filter and CVT oil.
Please also consider the effect of weather, hot air contain less oxygen as compare to cold, thus decreases fuel economy.

Any good places to tune and maintain hybrids in Karachi? Can official Toyota dealership handle the car well as Prius is already imported officially?

Need a bharose wala banda with proper knowledge for hybrid. Any help, contact numbers, addresses will do!

i guess no need to worry about Spark Plugs as is mentioned in maintenance log the replacement interval is 150k Miles which equal 2414016 Km or 144 months i.e 12 years.
as you have changed tires it could be due change in size of the Tyre.

Do not always follow the manual's instructions especially incase of imported models until specifically mentioned for Pakistan.

Aqua manual says change oil and oil filter at interval of 16,000 KM, will you do that?

I think the external factors matter as well.... our fuel quality is not like japanese and plus we have harsh climatic conditions over here.... but one thing i have noticed that i have changed my engine oil from 0w 30 to recommended 0w20 and engine has become really quiet....plus mileage has improved as well... my mileage drop to 18 and now its back to 23 and 24 with all time ac..Things i have done is only throttle service and oil grade change... opened up the battery fan but it was still like new......

Hi Guys,
What is AC cooling conditions of Aqua is it similar like Honda City or Toyota GLI or not. I am not satisfied with mine specially in back seats cabin is always not very cold also feel heat from outside from windows. Please share your experience. .Also suggest me how to improve its quality.AC technicians are saying everything is ok.

I have used the toyota genuine Motor oil.... it costed me about 6000.... and surprisingly it poured 3.75l exact whereas i use to fill 0W30 4 litres than the dip stick showed the quantity as full.....

you will have to compromise on mileage.. do not use auto and use the ac on 24 with full speed... i don't have this sort of issue... yes im always driving in eco mode.... as that is the best available mode..... comparing to gli's and city, i haven't found any difference.... its more or less the same cooling wise....

That could be the reason of AC performance. As far as my knowledge is when the ECO mode is ON, AC's compressor switches off and on automatically to save fuel. It happened to me as well on long and intercity drives but when I started switching off the Eco Mode the problem is solved. Try it and I guess this will help.
