Agreed 100% but the forums and articles that backs this are all from people out of Pakistan.
Please also keep in mind the fuel quality in Pakistan vs the quality of fuel sold worldwide. If we get the same fuel, than definitely regular fuel is good enough but truth of the matter is our hi octane fuel quality is indeed just more or less equivalent to regular fuel available worldwide. ( Don't review the claims of fuel companies about quality here in Pakistan as they all seem to advertise as if they are providing us space shuttle fuel
I once happen to drive an aqua which had some fuel left from Japan and I was astonished to see the mileage that about 6- 8 ltres of fuel gave me because that was indeed that regular fuel which you are referring too.
It got me well passed 275 kms and it was just on last bar when I received and it was still a liter or so left when I refilled it full for the first time here which was around 35 ltres. Never got that average since than.
