Lolz, in road clearance terms thats enough bro. Trust me, additional half inch is a lot. And it is close to what spacers do (apart from the fact spacers at the back make the car look ugly and abnormal)
More than 3% variation in overall diameter/size is not recommended as it burdens everything such as Engine load, traction load, braking, joints/ends, suspension. And 205/65/16 is already 2.82% more (almost borderline 3%)

AOA guys! So I just noticed that the traction control indicator (yellow light on the right hand side of the display) has started staying on. I read somewhere that this is the traction control being put to use. However, i feel no difference in the handling or drive of the car. What could be the reason?
There is no blinking light, no beeps etc. The light just stays on.
The prius in question is the 1.8 one 2011 model driven 60k kms

I got the springs changed to genuine but still with 18" rims it is getting very difficult for me
Like normally with four people it is still kissing few breakers woh bhi Bahria town ke:-(
Now I m thinking to get 16" rims with 205/60-16

No option if u want to save ur undercarriage from scraping besides better tyres size and spacers

U cant get tyres huge enough to save the car from all car breakers

This is the thing I didn't understand why does it take so long to show full.

Try switching off the car while refuelling

And then turn it on

Hopefully u will get real time info reflecting in gauges

Just a guess it could be the angle sensor on ur front wheels,
If its a real problem Pray that its not but since u say that it drives the same

Try taking off the LV battery terminal for an hour or two

But only if ur lcd isnt the japanese type with a missing map disc or sd card

Then itll stop working

Packings make the car ugly. And the packings available are 0.5-0.7 max. So to achieve almost same height using slightly bigger tyres reduces the gap between wheel arches which in my opinion makes a car look even better without the disadvantage of a clumsy ride as in case of raising the car. The tyres are a technically better and convenient solution rather than doing desi jugaar with your sensitive suspension.

Many times it becomes a huge trouble to get the car over a speedbump but I do the zigzag method and it works, at first it was a bit awkward to do but now I'm used to it.

Aoa in my opinion it's normal as Prius got bladder type fuel tank so temperature effects it. Try refilling at different day time n try to get ur car full tank.

Yes, if one has the time and some1 in proximity its always better to use a scanner

Not many take out the time

Better to buy an obd ii and keep it with u in ur prius

so u catch thr error code real time

Itll help alot in diagnosing

If u cud tell the code to ur mechanic

when u might a few hundred kms away from ur town
