My Prius has an issue. There are multiple lights that are now on and the car break system is also not working.

Any help in this regard shall be highly appreciated, any good mechanic where I should take the car.

by the looks of the Dashboard & Instrument Cluster Protector the cars driven well over 150K Miles
& most likely needs ABS Unit replacement ASAP

it is NOT Repairable so dont let any1 tell u that

so stop worrying & just get it fixed

I have been through the same issue in the past month and alhamdullillah my car is all good now got a new abs unit from javed denso for 32k including labour though he had to change three units as the same fault used to appear again and again after just 2 3 days though he is too good on after sales and he changed units at his own costs till my problem was solved.

Recently cleaned up the HV Battery Fan of my Prius Alpha 2011 upgraded to 2015

the colour of the Fan is very misleading

it looks clean even if its very very dirty

we were planning not to clean it after having a look

but then applied a blower just bcz we had spent so much effort uncovering it

and then the whole car went smoke gray once the Blower was unleashed on it

it looked like it was never cleaned in Japan

I advise every1 to clean it once a year

I have a Prius 2010, 1.8 S. It's HV battery has given up. Hybrid system deterioration error. Got it scanned and cleared the error. The error came back after approx. 400 km in-city driving.

The mechanic offered 3 options:
1) New battery. cost 3 lakh
2) Used battery. cost 1 lakh
3) Replace the bad cells. cost 5000/cell
btw. no warranty at all.

Need advice, any one with experience highly appreciated.

If you can recommend a trustworthy mechanic in Islamabad/Rawalpindi or Lahore, that'll also help.

Replacing cells works well if battery is partially dead

In ur case when battery is totally fried

Get a used pack

Every1 gives a weeks warranty

Posted this message here becuase seriously disappointed with car dealers/importers for selling accidental cars but making people fool by hiding the details. If anyone knows genioun guy in Islamabad who doesn't deceive his customers, so plz let me know.
