Toyota Probox or nissan ad van (which one is better)

If i have a budget of million rupees i would never ever go for these ugly looking cars no offense, both of them are having pathetic interiors and doesn't worth even 9 lacs at all in my humble opinion it is not a family car at all, if a family is willing to spend over 9lac+ atleast they should get a car that has some good interior, Belta or City will be far better choice in 1million range.. atleast they are proper family car and have far better interior.

Hmm!! Point to be noted!! U can't say belta as they are really expensive I myself Bought City 08 @ 11Lacs. But as for practicality & for the People who like vans & Japanese assembled vehicles these are Good! Can also be used for Corporate Purposes If some 1 wants! Its targeted for different type of customers!

whr did vitz came from when comparing estate cars, these are bigger and more space 1.3 autos, airbags, abs, electric windows so more equip then ur local crap. Its for a certain buyer not everyone would buy one but its definate better alternative. but the 2007 corolla fielder is what I would go for personally if I needed a estate. 2 cng cylinder is a joker ride whatever car it maybe.

Once again, People comparing these vans to hatches and sedans avalible in the market, For one single second, Compare these to Suzuki Bolan and Toyota Avanza,

@poster, Wait for 2007 Ad vans to be imported, its shape is similar to Wingroad, just the back door differs as it has no lights on the Diggi door. 2006 Shape of Nissan Ad is very inviting but the rear doesnt feels great.

Also consider Honda Partner (airwave's Delivery van model)

I have check both and its really a tough time with the leg room on both the vans in the reat seats. It is really difficult to get in and sit comfortably. seats are a different thing you can change it but I dont know what you can do with the leg room. If you are tall and a bit heave then its not for you both.

bro i ve got probox,thts y ill definately prefer probox over nissan AD coz of resale,availability of parts,cheap workman ship of toyota even if its taken to toyota company show rooms,secondly rear seats can be changed with those of corlla X for just 9000.believe me it has good drive and road grip and fuel average is quite acceptable as well

my three cents on the topic:

1. Interior wise AD is better
2. Resale, exterior shape, parts availabilty and maintenance wise probox is surely better
3. these cars r not for potential buyers considering vitz, swift, city, belta etc. but if someone has a budget for a brand new cultus and is considering buying one then i'd definitely recommend these boxes instead.....much better in all respects than a cultus

you are geting a japense import vvti engine every thIng powerED ..just in the range of 8-12 lakhs what else do people want..THESE CARS ARE REALLY A TRUE BLESSING FOR THE PUBLIC AND MIDDLE CLASS of Pakistan.

Thanks GOD now we have an option other than a corrolla and civic.. cheaper roomier and bigger we are not going to drag them on tracks aftER installing cng in them so what if they are under powered..IT REALLY BROKE THE market of many cars like CITY , CULTUS, ALTO .VITZ ..TRULY VALUE FOR MONEY

digged it it priced lower than the Honda city and corolla Gli and will aslo break the market of honda civic for sure iuf we get these in numbers ..wow the shape is amazing in this price TAG...AT THIS TIME WHEN A CIVIC COSTS 2 MILLION..really a blessing indeed

who will buy local stripped down models when he can get a fully loaded japan import with a cheaper price tagand better quality

its shape is far more bang for the buck..

Wow! I am really surprised people are putting 2 CNG cylinders back there; imagine what the poor suspension must be going through. I would prefer the probox, it has a better engine than the nissan's, lots more low-end torque in the automatic transmission model.

Mind explaining how the Vitz is 'underpowered'. You're calling a $1500 USD delivery van a bad-a$$ car, wow. Who in their right mind would risk installing two time bombs (CNG kits) into these cars?

Only someone would doesn't know squat would actually do that, and actually paying a million + PKR for a car like that is just down right crazy.

how come you say CNG cylinder a time bomb, you must be totally ignorant about fuels and their safety while stating this.
i suggest you to just do some study, CNG is much much more safe than Patrol, even some studies put it safer than Diesel too.
for all my friends out there soon i will start a thread explaining safety of Fuel in general and of CNG in particular.

I dont know but i think we should not compare these two cars with Vitz belta or City. In our market Suzuki is selling a dabba for over six lacs or a cultus for 10 lac. If you compare it with that this is a much better option at least it has ABS, Air bags and some safety compared to cultus or suzuki dabba .
With the price and features these two cars have i think its not a bad buy. Though there are some issue with resale. At the end of the day every one has the right to give their opinion .
