i have changed oil and air filter, fuel filter ki cleaning karwa li mechanic ne...throtle body bi uper uper se uss ne petrol se clean karwa li thori.....plugs bi clean karwaye....no difference in mileage....the mechanic said ke jab plugs red hote hai tu fuel bilkul munasib hota hai gari par aur jab black hote hai then fuel ziyada hota hai...but jab open kiye plugs tu wo bilkul red te.
fuel injector kaun se hote hai ..kaha par hote hai ..this i dont know...

A fuel injector is located in the head of the engine. It is threaded into the combustion chamber with the nozzle inside. Its job is to spray a fine fuel mist into the combustion chamber at the right time so it can be combined with the charge of air that has come in through the intake valve. The mixture is then ignited by the spark plug or by the heat of compression in a diesel.

Thanx, will clean these injectors also some time. Its engine is 1300.
By the way there is some alignment problem also as on motorway the car was going on left side sometime and sometime pushing to right side. tyre presure was ok...may be more fuel is becz f this alignment problm...will correct that also..

its generally known that probox we get in pakistan are generally high mileage cars in pakistan and there meters are reversed,and its said by many of the car dealers that since its a commercial vehicle in japan no vehicle with less than lakh mileage is available which we get here in pakistan but thats not the case in every vehicle.auction sheets are prepaped fake at khi port until unless you import yourself.the best way to judge is through export certificate which you get with the vehicle to known about its genuine mileage .in 2009 its mileage was around 36800km and in 2010 its mileage was 45800km.and vehicle got auctioned in april 2011 and i got vehicle with mileage of 56200km which seemed to me correct keeping in view previous year increase in mileage.kindly share your experience as well

in long drive i am getting around 17 with ac and with in city i am getting around 12.5-13 with ac,its 1.3

Well the mileage is normal but you should be getting a bit more.I almost get the same but my car is 1500cc.you should get it aligned mine was also going to the left when I bought it.

bro mileage of 1.3 and 1.5 are almost same as per japan toyota motors company website,1.5 has lill bit less average.though i plan to get it tuned,throttle body serviced and fuel injectors cleaned from toyota rawal motors with in few days.secondly u drive ur vehicle in isb and i drive in rwp,there is lot of difference between two as isb traffic is way better than tht of rwp,so fuel efficiency will be definitely be effected

DX version doesnt come with factory tints,urs is DX i suppose,is it 1.3 or 1.5

u r right DX comes with radio,but many importers add navigation and even power windows,power side mirrors at the port to increase the value of the vehicle,they take out these things from damaged vehicles at khi port,i ve seen this myself.Have u changed engine oil.transmission oil,air,fuel and oil filters.then drive for sometime if u feel like then get its throttle body serviced and engine tuned.Get these from toyota 3S workshop,while getting transmission oil changed keep an eye that they use TIV transmission oil.regarding oil i am using liqui moly 5W-40 fully synthetic and i am satisfied with it.read the forum u ll find many good suggestions/experiences which our dear brothers have shared,it may help u alot

My Probox do has navigation,all power windows,power mirrors
And yea all the oils,Filters have been changed tuning done recently
though i think we used the same oil as you are, the oil change was done at Toyota Shaheen Motors,Lahore
Till now the drive is excellent,not a single problem till date
Not sure if they used the TIV transmission oil,will tell my dad about these things
And yea the forum is real helpful,will be looking for more suggestions in future
