the "dwell" timing is pretty short on it - on high CR engines which rev higher you sometimes can get into a situation when the spark duration is too short and you get a mild misfire. I dont think you will ever run into that because that is racing engine territory - the reason to match the ignitor and coil is that you dont kill the ignitor with a coil whose impedance is too low.
You can find a 4K-LU engine distributor from other export models - the last editions of them had electronic distributor - (corolla 82 SE model which had TTC-C engine)
point to ponder ---> piston engine aircraft are only allowed to run CB points ignition.
