The ‘Intelligent Package’, was first available in the beginning April 2005 and uses Toyota’s ‘Intelligent Idling Stop System’ to achieve the highest fuel efficiency level within the class. Using a lithium-ion battery, the engine is automatically put into the idling stop state when the car comes to a stop. The engine is subsequently smoothly restarted when the brake is released.the feature is available at dealers, and consumers can get them if they ask for it.”

About 700 Vitzes with the feature were sold - if you have that car you are lucky

Its this oil exact same rest if u want details Murtaza Murti is your guy.About the engine oil and ceretec its currently not available in Isl its gonna be arriving after 13th cost price of engine oil (if you want the best 5W40) is around about Rs4200 its 4 litres and only 3 goes in vitz if i am not wrong and he will pour 2.7 litres and add 300ml of ceratec also fuel cleaner will cost u 900 kul mala kay Rs 6000 ki phaki hai

Again great info.... but after how much milage liquimoly would required to be changed...?? as Caltex havoline gives 4500-5000 km for each change and cost about 1500 for 3 liters in my 2004 vitz.

Sir the shop owner was telling me 10k but i have my doubts and ceretac he says covers it for 50k again my doubts prevail u can call him and check it out here is his no.03335177198
oh if ur going there do buy urself the original oilfilter they got the GUARD ones and do get ur spark plugs changed Mr. JZ can help u on tht or u cud buy autolite sparkplugs like i have u will get great fuel eco.Rest there are very big Ustaads on this forum they can help u out

I have a similar Eco model and it works fine.Eco timer starts when brake is pressed and the engine stops as long as you keep pressing the brake.when you release the brake pedal the engine starts automatically.if it is not starting in yr car ,maybe your backup bty needs to be changed

Hey thanks.

On friday plan to take half day from work (hope boss allows me) and whole of Saturday will be going with a friend to the showrooms for vitz hunting. Will see for U pkg 1300CC in 2007 / 2008 or otherwise go for 1000 CC standard.

If u dont find 1300cc than i would suggest u to go for auction grade 1000cc 2008(new shape) Vitz with full options...

Well i jux got a fresh import 2006 1.0L Vitz with ECO and climate control. jux drove it for lyk 200 kms. Climate contol thing is awesome and looks really beautiful as compared to three knobs u knw ( although every Vitz is superb ) but still dont knw about this ECO thng...
please if someone can really throw some light on this. If some one really has an experience of this U package vitz then do share...
Plus im really confused about petrol milage of vitz... some say its 17km/l some say its 13km/l.... what actualy its is..?

With ECO Vitz 2006 1.0L use to give 15-17 kpl mostly on full High Octane in normal Islamabad Driving, never drive with any effort to save Fuel normal relaxed driving.

I have a confusion, I just bought fresh import U grade vitz 2006 1300cc. It has unlimited features including climate control but I am not sure about ECO function. How can I find out whether my ride is ECO?
Whether all U grade / climate control vitz have ECO function?
Any suggestions please?
Beside it, it has the following features,

- Push start, all doors touch open including trunk
- 8 airbags
- Company fitted HIDs
- Latest Navigation system, although changed to a better one
- Toyota's original 15 inch RIMs with perfect tyres
- Adjustable steering, to and fro as well as up and down
- Climate control, touch AC panel
- 4 head rests, all seats adjustable, i.e, to and fro as well as up and down,
- 3 partitioned trunk,
- Scratch less Grey metallic color,

Dear Everyone!
I am checking out Toyota Vitz 06 onwards shape cars (to buy a Vitz ofcourse). Couple of Vitz importers told me that they have for Sale Vitz cars which have some Eco/Hybrid technology engine. This gives better fuel economy..about 20KM/Litre.

Would anyone confirm or deny if Vitz has hybrid or eco technology engines.

I have vitz 2006 imported December 2011 purchased Jan 2012 with eco and climate control function.
Average in city is 14-15 km/litre.
Average on motorway is 18 km/litre.
Max speed I achieved on it was 165 km on motorway.
No problems faced till now.
Any 1 wants to know more can call me at 0336-5193333.

Car is in excellent brand new condition with beige interior.
Eco system is working perfectly.
