Toyota vitz 2013,vibration issue solved by me successfully

Dear local oil put shop near to my working place Montgomery Road Lahore. Complete oil change shop renowned NATIONAL OIL TRADERS near Lakshmi Chowk and complete process I have seen by myself. Opened the oil drain, pan by opening 10 to 12 then wash the pan and filter on it with petrol. There I like to mention one thing while reading different threads related to same issue some one claim it need to open certain other parts too like (chamber) to make transmission oil drain completely and then pour the new one. But the oil change guy didn’t done such kind of work except oil pan and make it wash by petrol so do confirm me either he didn’t drain the oil in a right way or something else to check. Bro, one last question before I answer your question. How much quantity he filled of new oil and how he came to know that it's level is perfectly maintained after filling?

I still have the remaining oil can with me which I don’t thing so more than .25litre or maximum .50litre left rest I have no idea is he checked oil level or not. Main reason about this argument I am not clear bcoz before at time he filled the oil I came back to my work place to do some work meanwhile I asked my labour guy to keep stay there just to make sure that he will not do any hanky Panky. So at time I came back to pick my car he already done all the stuff and car was outside of shop in a parking lot. So shall I suppose to ask any question to him regarding oil capacity he put in and out from a car.

I had the same problem. Toyota mechanic asked me to press break fully for a few mins while he was cleaning something near the engine. It solved the idle vibration problem for me. I don't what exactly he cleaned but he said if I removed my feet from break, his fingers will be chopped.

It's not the breaks. lol.

He asked you to keep foot on throttle and then cleaned the inside of Throttle body, which has a sensor fed flap to regular air and is quite powerful, when the self is on ON position, power is fed to Throttle body and it can snap the fingers if not careful.

Most of the vitz rough idling comes from poor maintenance of TB. Because IKR-FE is weak engine with only 3 cylinders, the performance of the car really comes from the CVT which also needs to be maintained and CVT oil changed every 35-40K kilometers.

It's a common sign that you need to clean the TB if car is rough idling too much or it's louder than usual. CAT Converter, TB, Air Filter, Intake Manifold, Spark Plug coil connectors, Injector connectors, all need regular cleaning to maintain a smooth running Vitz. Once a month, dedicate your 4-5 hours for this.

although this is an year old thread but i want to share my experience to resolve vibration issue. I have personally done the same procedure to get rid off vibration issue in my vitz 2007.

There is a small "LK screw also called allen screw" on throttle body covered with some kind of sealant / silicon type material(as shown in picture). Remove that silicon and tight (clockwise) with Allen Screw driver.(Perform this while engine is switched off). Start the engine and check if problem still exists repeat the action. i resolve it with 2.5 full clock wise rotation. Do not do this on first start of the day, i mean warm up the engine first.
Also remember tight the Allen screw while engine is switched off.

Yes it increases base line engine idle speed with manual Allen screw.

True, a good long driven will keep the tb clean as a whistle.

But if i I read the guys post, he/she is recommending to clean the throttle every month? Which service manual is he/she referring to?

I solved the vibration issue in my Vitz just by using Euro 5 petrol. I am not exaggerating it! These cars are made to run newer fuel standards.
Petrol here in Pakistan uses Euro 2 standards which are not suitable for these JDM cars.

I have vitz 2001 model ir used to vibrate in D nd R. Always Did normal tuning bt problem never solved, last time i check ignition coils resistance two of them has 23 nd 20 (on the scale of 20K) resistance changed to kabli with resistance above 30 nd alkhmdulilah 90% vibration gone.. It only vibrates n D nd R when brake is fully depressed.. Which looks to me like a vacuum leak..
