1 possible diagnosis is you are not pressing the brake hard before shifting it different ratios if the brake is not pressed properly while shifting from P -N-D the a sudden jerk is felt.
and if the scenario is right then there could be some thing wrong in the transmission itself.

1: if the brake is properly pressed then observe the shift delays how much time it take to shift in the ratio after you put it in in drive or reverse mode note the time.

shifting of gear to R is 1~1.5 second. the jerk is felt only while shifting to R.
D, 3,2,L N P modes are oky....

ok longer intervals oil chnage on the norma ECTdoes has this behavior best option is to get the valve body serviced if the delay is within 1 sec limit if not then keep it driving and change it when it dies. btw which ECT you are talking about

Dear seems you have enough knowledge about Vitz. Reason behind sending you this text is to confirm one thing that few days back I purchase a Vitz 2014 Japan mode driven 64k genuinely after few days having this car I took it for CVT oil change also engine oil so after inspection oil pit shop guy claim car have CVT FE oil recommended so I bring original Toyota CVT FE and 0-20w from Montgomery road. Oil change guy after opening around 8 to 10 screw of gear oil tray he drain all the gear oil and wash filter and tray with petrol properly and put the new oil on it but as he make all stuff done I bring car back but one thing I notice car having enough vibration after gear oil change otherwise prior to oil change it didn’t vibrate in this way can you help me out where is the issue is anything wrong he done or?

did they perform the CVT and SRS calibration or just filled it up and let you go?

Ustaad g what's the procedure of cvt pressure calibration and zero point calibration using techstream?

Should fluid temperature be above 85?

the cvt pressure is redone and the SRS zero point too - as you already know people absolutely love to remove the battery terminals of their cars in Pakistan - this makes the SRS unit zero point a necessity,

The CVT pressure calibration is a learned value and is part of a NVM in the ECU. Its done when the gear oil is changed and then left alone.

Nothing sort of process he have done dear simply drain the gear oil wash the filter with petrol and tip up the oil. Is anything genuinely needed to recheck kindly do suggest me good place in Lahore. Looking forward positive feedback. Stay blessed

This is why I absolutely hate JDM import cars, because there is no service documentation for them. Trial and error makes for expensive mistakes and usually makes the car piles of scrapmetal.

If you wish to buy such a car, buy its service manuals too and find mechanics that can read and follow them. They are very expensive compared to "ustaad in wood cabin"
