SCP10 is the chassis code for the vitz, hte owners manual will highlite where the codes are stamped on the block as well. very hard to describe.

as long as your rims have an offset (ET) of 38 to 45 you'll not have any issues with rubbing. however on full turns your tyre will just rub the plastic wheelarch but just barely.

I've had 195/50R15's onmy car for a lng time now and i've not had any issues till now. whatever you do do not fit 195/55R15's as they will rub everywhere and make your life hell, make sure you get a 50 profile tyre with a 195 width and 15 inch rim of you wish to maintain the OEM ride height so that your speedo is accurate.

I know I asked this question b4 but no one could give a definite reply.

Have any of you guys cleaned ur engine using water and diesel at the petrol station without any problems etc. Y'day while servicing my car (Margalla) I asked the petrol station guy and he said that he serviced a number of vitz engines but none of his returning customers had any problems as such with the computer related parts.

Just using air pressure does not make the engine look sparklingly clean as compared to using diesel/water.
Has anyone tried this and would like to share their experiences.

as long as you don't get any electrical parts wet you can even use high pressure water and detergent but i would not advise it as many other things can go wrong as well.

You're better off doing it yourself with a toothbrush and some deisel (the reason they don't use petrol is that it can catch fire if it hits any hot engine part whereas deisel needs compression to become flamable.

Have u got ur Vitz with 15" rims or got urselves changed? I got my Vitz with 14" alloy rims and tyre profile is something 165/55/R14 but i feel my ride is quite bumpy even on small bumps or cracks on road.

What is the company standard of Rims n tyres for Vitz? and what do u suggest to get a more comfortable ride? shud i change the rims and tyres both or just tyres? or may be just tyre pressure?

which rims will look nice in white vitz 2003. mujhey motey patee walee rim achee lag rahey hai lekin pata nahee vitz main kaisey lagey gey. yaa phir 6 spoke wala daloo. yaar kharcha kitna ayee ga rims aur tyres mila kar.

I fit 15's on my wifes car using the yaris t-sport as a guide and i have had no problems so far, also the ride is perfect as long as you fill it to 2.0-2.1kpa, the ride is very comfortable.

how much these rims cost u? not reach market yet. but soon will be. my running is on kachee sark. so dunlop sp sport will be fine? kahee rims shape to loose nahee karey gey?

the rims costed me 17000 rupees and they are OEM toyota rims. Dunlop SP Sports are good tyres but in my eyes they are not the best, butthey are the best in their price range (cheaper than pirelli and michelin).

I've hit a few pot holes withthe vitz and so far the rims are still in shape.

One thing i need to ask, i was just doing the regular fluids check-up, and noticed strong smell of petrol from engine oil.
What could be the reason? And i am also noticing engine knocking in 3rd and top gear!!

It should be mentioned in the Auciton Report, it wont be specifically written 1999 0r 2000, but something like '18' or '19' must be written,18 i guess stand for 1999.

There is another 'jugarr' for it. Check the Seat Belts, there is a TAG attached on it at the end, you should find the year specified there.
