it's piossible that this model didn't either come with the touch button boot opening or that the boot lid has been changed. Nothing to be too worried about.
As for the silver knobs etc, that only comes in the plus package model cars. otherwise 03 & 04 cars come with simple grey knobs.
I'm guessing it is a simple 04 since it does not have rear headrests, or auto folding mirrors as well. but the fact that it does not have factory standard tinted rear windows is a litlte bit of a concern to me but it's possible that is also a plus package option, alta would have to clarify that. personally i think it is a base 04 model since even @vitz stated that it had an analogue meter etc.
My verdict is that it IS a (basic) 03-04 model or a very VERY) well converted 99-02 model. ideally i'd need ot see an interior shot to be 100%sure though.
