In general 15" rims would be fine, but you have to go with a low profile tires then; which would mean slightly less comfortable, but better cornering due to stiffer sidewall.

@storm (the guru) had 15" rims on his Vitz 2003. 195/50/R15 (to be precise) with Pirelli Dragon as rims and Dunlop tires.

Michelin, Dunlop, Yokohama, Bridgestone; all these are reliable brands. But you must already be aware that there are a lot of varieties within a single brand. In short, jitna gurr utna meetha. You may also search the forums for post on tires alone.

@storm had a lot of explanation in this very thread about tires and the proper sizes. Check page numbers: 74,75,112,113 also.

Hope some more experienced and Karachi based member will help you about your other queries.

Original tyres are fine but depends on its condition. Aftermarket dunlops are good ones 185/64R13 or R14. Depends if u want to install the rims or not. Costs 12 to 13k, may be they are now expensive as dollar has risen up.

Read the above comment 15s looks good wid new shape. But installing 15s on 1 litre car, isnt fair. Best size is 185 and for looks 195s.

Umm i think according to 1 litre car vitz is fine. It must be underpowered for u coz u r having a heavy missile in ur trunk and running a 1 litre auto car on cng. CNG makes the 1600cc car dull in pick.

yeah guess u're right -
BUT
the justifications:!
somehow; even driving a vitz 1000cc 'manual' [as well as an automatic (which I currently own)] did'nt satisfy me on CNG even being a vvti - as compared to a Cultus Normal / [the superb] EFI - and as compared to Santro EFI -
Though I'd proudly include that the 1000cc vvti engine feels like its running on "double-cream" - even on cng - God is sooooo smooth -

remember only talking about the feeling of power [/underpoweredness . ish] and engine performance -
and is just an opinion , not a fact , as I've seen many people here getting toooo possessive about 'Vitz'

and I don't have a big Missile in the boot - its a mere 40kg inflex - the 55kg in cultus doesnt affect the performance!

and I dont compare like pick on petrol BY pick on cng - My comparison goes by pick on cng on 'all' 1000cc class cars [locally available] - and that's absolutely right that CNG has it's heavy foot on the engine , I understand that - but u know, I dont have the option of driving any car on petrol , u know what i mean
