i've seen people letting the engine bay washed by water without any problem. However, i don't prefer it for myself. A diesel (or petrol) spray (using compressed air) serves the purpose of cleaning quite well.

Besides, i'd also suggest you to read at least the first 50 pages of this wonderful thread. Specially posts by @storm, @cache and @amoizp (i might be forgetting some names here)

Engine washing is safe. But dont use very pressure water on it. I also do service of my engine after 2 or 3 months.

2005 and 2006 doesnt matters that much. As they are imported cars and both condition will almost be the same. Only thing which matters either its FL or F?

Hello again everyone!

Well I got my Vitz will soon post the pics and add it my rides here on PW. Now wat I asked earlier, is still unanswered, i.e. My vitz has DVD Rom for Nav n Tv etc plus FM only tunes till 90 Mhz! now today I called a car a/v guy he said there's no chip or video card available to convert its dvd rom to dvd video compatible, the only solution is to attach a seperate dvd player/changer and make this LCD play videos. Well, I'm not sure if that's the only solution or is it??? Coz I've seen posts here about chip or video cards to convert the native system video compatible. Similarly about FM..coz I don't want to spoil the native in-built system. Also about speakers, the native ones are not gr8, I need to replace them and add two more rear ones..any suggestion would be really appreciated though I think sony Xplod is a good option.

^for fm you can install fm modulator cost 100-200
for speakers go for kenwood 718 and 2-ch amplifier
and for video,m not very sure

I Installed FM Frequency gadgets by just paying 300rs. After t dat you can tune in to All Pakistani Radio Station. But the digits on ur radio remain in the same frequency Like you may be tuned in to 101 at 88.7

no temperature metre. But when ever engine goes hot the same sign will blink in red colour. Consult storm for the isb sensor. Secondly are the hidz chinese, any warranty. On low and high beam both are hidz? Upload the pics of hidz.
Dont go for the crappy stearing cover it'll look cheap.

which shield you are talking about,i m not getting it and secondly you are most experienced then us but a simple advise if you are changing steering then keep in mind that the airbag should work

I have personal experience of removing the CAT from my Vitz. It is certainly NOT a welding job. It requires service of a professional mechanic who knows Vitz inside out. If you were in Karachi I would have recommended Danish Cars to you. Perhaps someone from Lahore will recommend some professional mechanic to you.

The service shop (its actually a house) is located in PECHS in the same street as VTrack. The market rates are 3800 but Pakwheelers will get a discount of 500. I will also mention that the polish is a special Teflon (synthetic polymer) layer that surrounds the entire metal surface and gives it a sleek wet look along with added rust protection which is a must for Karachi car owners.
