This is my first post to this forum and thread as well, Hamm I need some details about the Vitz, firstly whether all of its parts are now available in Pak or not (Engine & Body), Secondly is it alright to convert it on CNG and does it goes well like all other local cars or are there some serious issues with it regarding pickup and adjustment?

Actually I am thinking to buy this car, but there are lots of rumors about it, the most common and alarming are the ones I discussed with you above, so I need the opinion of people who already owned this car and know the issues with it, any help is appreciated, thanks.

i have a 2003 vitz and want to install a garmin gps + reverse cam.. the limitation here is the in dash audio system that comes factory fitted so any suggestions on which system to install???

now i want to change its pully generator ps belt which i know is only 1 for all pulleys so i want to know that
1. how it is changed?
2. is it is necessary to open foundation to change belt?

reg in pakistan iz not the manufacturing year iz understood. as per pakistan laws only 3 years old car imports iz allowed and checked through its 1st registration date in abroad (on car data sheet) you can also find a manufacturing date on seat belt sticker (driver side) near bottom. for example mine vitz reg in japan in feb-07 and sticker date says iz dec-06. landing in Pakistan last of Jan-10 and cleared in Feb-10. n reg in may-10 as model Vitz - 2007. hopefully yours confusion iz resolved.
2nd, difference btw different models i also found accessories are different in 07 n 08 models i-e; more air bags, push start button front piller speakers fuel eco luggage compartment tray etc if i m wrong plz correct

I am still confused, last time I inspected a car having following info:
a. The custom sheet shows the car is first time registered in 2007 in Japan in name of XXXX
b. The Bill of Entry shows Toyota Vitz, 1000cc, year 2008
c. The seat belt sticker shows manufactured in Nov 2007
So, basically which model is it?

Guys i would desperately want to share my last night experience of driving one of my friend's friend Vitz 2003 model which clearly made me stun.

I have 2004 (FL with CNG installed a year back), my friend once told me 2 months back that i have a friend who has vitz 03 model which as compared to yours runs pretty faster. At that time i just said OK there are difference in the Cars, some keeps them well so they are better than some others.
but my friend keeps on telling me that his car is better i have driven it its very good bla bla and continue telling me this so last night i got a chance to see his friend's car.

Guys the person who owns the car even dont know which model his car is, how much Kilometer it has been driven etc etc i mean to say that he just drive the car and nothing else. When i sat in his car the car was dirty from inside, the dash board was covered with dust, the seats were dirty too. the first thing came in my mind is that this guy must be making me fool about his car.

But believe me i as i started the car and took a ride i was shocked, i have not driven such a vitz in my life i dont know how to put this in words but the pick up of his car was just awesome, it was shoooting like hell. it went straight to 80 just in 2nd gear and crossed 100 in 3rd gear & the road got finish & i could'nt manage to take the car upto 4th gear.

I want to ask you ppl how is this possible? how come his car is like this? the engine was giving such a power sound.
there was nothing in his car no ultration no air intake no nothing at all just a simple Vitz engine.

I am still thinking about the drive of his car.
has any one else here got the same pickup and boost?
i just wish mine was like him.

My car changes 1st gear on 65km 2nd on 106, dont know about 3rd and 4th cause i have to try it on much bigger straight road. i even have CNG installed

hey i need advice soon...
i just got a 2004 vitz cng n want to change the
1.oil filter
2.oil (plz recommend....i hav thought of caltex 20-50 cng)
3.spark plugs (need some performance)
4.gear oil (plz recommend....hav no idea)

plz recommend the above mentioned things with a price n it wud b gr8 if anyone can tell me tht from where to get the stuff....!!!!
