Sorry for the wrong word it was actually brake survey the big round box fixed behind engine. when i press brake, i can feel air leakage sound in cabin, actually its the air pressure which should be given to brake leathers but mechanics are telling that this box is broken. i visited toyota showroom on aghashahi road 9th avevue. now 1 mechanic is suggesting me to open and repair that box and the other one is saying to buy a kabli one from rawalpindi.

oh! sorry bro I do not have a single clue about it. Let's hope some expert will come in soon.

You're referring to the brake booster the round black box.

When you pump the brake pedal you're suppose to hear the sound of the air compressing, that is normal.

Brake leathers? Broken brake booster? Have you checked the brake lines for leakage? What about the brake master cylinder and the brake fluid reservoir?

What kind of a mechanic is he? Repair a brake booster? Who on earth does that? You replace it not repair it.

2008 vitz is much better in acceleration and top speed
im finding it hard to adjust on race pedal in 2008 vitz as it changes gears on slightest Push

I filled fuel tank from Total pump Thokar niaz baig while traveling from LHR-MUL-LHR. The average speed is 100km with soft acceleration.

I always fill my tank from total. In city I got 535km in 35 L.

well it was the brake booster, machenic suggested me to repair the booster but i bought a kabli one for 6000. now my brakes are perfect and i am enjoying my new car . Thanks for your suggestion :).

Hi Guys,

Need a quick help from your end... I have Vitz 2005 auto with me and encountering 3 issues.

1. While driving the car if I go to speed above 60Km/hr the engine check lights turns on and wont go away unless I stop the car and start it. Hitting 60km again enables the engine check light. Can someone tell me whats wrong? My fuel comprises of 66% petrol and 34% hi-octane. I recently changed the air filter and all fluids as well.

2. If I press the brake either light foot or hard the car comes to a stand still. Getting my feet off the brake does not get the car in motion. I then have to press the accelerator to get it in motion which I do not think is a good option. As for any other auto car I set gear to D and lift my feet off brake the car automatically sets it in motion. No clue whats wrong with my vitz. I changed the brake pads recently but the issue remains.

3. Suggest me a good mechanic or shop for tuning of my vitz.
