can someone plzzz post a picture of the original break pads and break shoes of vitz 2006 model...m gonna go to montgomery road to get them cause i only get genuine parts for my precious vitz (H) m not an expert but at least tell me how the original ones differ so that i dont get the wrong ones.....and the price.thank you.

yeah..went there...cost me 2200 for break shoe and 3800 for the pads..6000 total,and this was the minimum price..they werent getting downer than this.:-!

Whats with the whistling sound on D gear when brake is applied?

Im not very happy with the pickup of this car, Altho it went upto 120km/h on shara-e-faisal smoothly, got 19.4 liters of petrol for around rs 2000, drove around 182 kms and the light came on, thats about 9.3km/L , The A/C wasnt on all the time aswell, thats not too gud aswell.

Now i gota tank full 10 liters hi-octane rest was fulled by super, lets see what the average comes up this time, i plan to get the engine oil and CVT oil changed in a day or two aswell.

I feel the fuel pump of this car is changed to a local one, il get it checked with the mechanic.

For isl urban driving , datz a really bad average , better consult a gus mechanic or u have a really heavy foot

Check on the pillar near the driver's seat. What's the recommended PSI. I was keeping mine at 30 psi all this time. Just recently increased to 32 psi as recommended and found an improvement in mileage. Also found a diff when I put in hi-octane mixed.

i have vitz 2007 model.. my car has knocking issue ...i know this issue is already discussed here but i cant find any appropriate solution.. do you know any gud workshop where i can get complete checkup of my car.. till now in city average is 12-13KM/L but on highway i usually use GT road from LHR to ISB its around 18-19KM/L.

so need some suggestions regarding it to get rid of this knocking sound. it get mre when i press padle n when i release it get low but remain there..i searched for high octane but couldn't find on any of total and shell fuel pumps.

which fuel is best for vitz in pakistan...currently i am using TOTAL...

Amount of oil drained = the amount to put back in AFAIK.

i tried to find high octane but couldnt get ...they all said they are out of stock... is there any workshop in Lahore where i can get all my vitz sensor check and clean? workshop should be economical

i also got my car checked by some mechanic and he said " sahab masla front began ka ha" ab ya began kya i dont know.. but he said that estimate would be around 20-25K and issue will go away... he said once engine will be open then we can find the xact issue....

Its 30 in majority cars il recheck though, But my car currently has 185/70/14" so i use 28 PSI, that keeps the drive soft too.

I poured in 10 liter of hi-octane and 28.18 liter of Super, on 13th, worth rs.4220 , got oil changed to Caltex Havoline synthetic 5W-40 and CVT changed on 17th, (after driving about 150+km).

half tank at 250km, Yesternite got the last light blinking at abount 410kms, Got it refueled in the morning at about 420.2 kms, 37 liters to be exact came in. (hioctance wasnt avalible today)

so 420 kms on 37 liters, for 3760 that makes it around 11.35 kms per liter. Its still low, But im hoping i changed the oil after half tank was consumed, So it should become better. iA

bro i am from peshawar no idea about lahore ! u can get it checked by any electrition who has an obd scanner ! will charge u 500 rs ! ur car's all electrical systems n sensors will be checked !

i guess he means front bearing ! n dat has nuthing to do with knocking ! if ur car makes loud noise on high speeds that wheel bearing prob !
n they cost brand new 5500 rs a pair with magnetic sensors in them built in !
