Hello good people...
I own a 2 door vitz and want to change the suspension to a more stiffer setup...
Does anyone know or has any aftermarket suspension that can adjust the ride height too?.

I bought a vitz 99 yesterday...Actually I was searching for 2002-2004 model because of the changes in lights and bumper but couldnt get one in reasonable condition and if the condition is good they would demand around 8 lacs...so got this one for 650. I got its new engine from Shoba Bazar Peshawar worth 15000 and its acting like news..well I want to change the lights and front bumper(2002 onwards one)....IS IT POSSIBLE ? well finding it would not be a problem ( Peshawar) but will it fit in 99 vitz.

@tyrone, Drove about 475 kilometers till the second last side stoped and the last light started blinking, got her refiiled at 489.9 (lets count it 490) and 35.85 liters came in, lets say 36 liters,

that means 490 kms on 36 liters, 13.61km/L This is good mashaAllah.

That's cool I would also like to try to get an exact estimate of my mileage but don't want to wait till the last light is blinking seeing the situation in karachi and the fact that I was stuck for 2+ hours on sharea faisal in karachi last night

I had two bars left and was thinking of letting it go till it started blinking but common sense prevailed and thank goodness I filled up that morning before the trouble started or else I would have been stranded :-/

Oh thats bad, thankfully i left office on time, YOu dont have to wait till the last bar, just divide driven kms by fuel refilled, you can do that with 100km of driving and refilling aswell.

That's what I do to get a rough estimate. But mine is so far only about 9.50/10 l/km It's a Belta but a lot of short starts and AC too

^ You might find a 99-00, in karachi 2002 old lights sell upto 650-675, less 50k per year you should be able to find a 99-00 in your budget.

My vitz 2007 is having power steering EPS or ABS issue. The power steering turns off (steering becomes hard) for a couple of seconds.
With P/S and ABS warning Light on pannel. Issue come on both while driving or car is stoped. The problems come after car wash. I take it to the Best Electrian i know (known as Demi Electratian infornt of Lahore Hotel). there is now issue in the ECU(As car is restart after that problem and that error is not stored in ECU as it is not giving Warning Light all time). He says there might b ABS Senor Problem which is causing that problem. According to him there is a chance that if the water completly dryes that problem may go... but still is comming....

What could b the exact issue and possible fix forthis issue..........

^ Since you found the entire engine for 15k, Headlights and bumpers should be cheap too, Once you find please let me know aswell, And yes you can facelift the 99-02 to 02-05 easily, No major changes

Could be bad sensors, Could be loose connections, or burnt wiring, Its bettter to get your car scaned, get the error codes so that the exact problems can be found out.

Dude with abs n eps prob , just check ur wheel bearings , dey r faulty , replace them , a single magnetic sensor makes 3 systems work , abs , eps , speedmeter

1. Screeching Sound
   On starting my Vitz (2010 Model, 1 L, 22,000 Km, AT) after 24 hours it starts normally but as I move forwards or in reverse screeching sound comes for 5-10 seconds (like a worn out belt) then everything becomes normal. What is this sound brothers?
2. Jingle sounds
   After a cold start up if I have to turn the steering wheel all the way to its limit, a low jingle sound comes and it goes away if I move back the steering a few degrees. Can you please help?
