After hours of searching on the web i still cant find the Vitz 2009 or 2008 owners manual. Please can someone paste the link. I continue to find manuals for Yaris but not Vitz. Most grateful.

any body installed rear speaker in vitz 2005 above shape ? if yes plz share pics i want to install rear speakers but dont know how

Dear Smokin:
I recently installed rear speakers in my Vitz 2009 and enclosing the Pic. No screws, or drilling was done in the car. The Pic will show how the speakers platform and side stands were placed and can be removed. This way the seat is completely usable and not only that i can use my trunk also. I got this done at Tariq Road car market for 1200/-. Hope this helps. Oh and dont worry its very stable and very sturdy so it doesnt move!

@ ccipk...Whats the difference between Yaris and Vitz ?? In my opinion these are different secondary brand names only. With product being almost the same.

i meant that the recline feature works like the front seat (driver/passenger works) different position, not just recline and back strait, it can be adjusted on different positions. Is it still adjust able to different positions or just straight back?

yes sirr while making the speaker board v designed it with the seat in max recline position ! n the speaker board is nt supported by da rear seat so u cant keep in seat in any position u want to !

for dis reason got support from the shocks ! its independant of seat position !

yaris is the name given to usdm n uk models !

if u want 2 din , thn luk for da player dat comes in swift dx or altis corolla !

If 1 din , thn alpine or sony or pioneer ull get for rnd 7000 usb mp3 aux player !

The way u installed the speakers how would you use the rear seat recline then? Thats the reason im not putting speaker like you did

i also had this option but i didnt go with as to me it didnt seam neat enough n it doesnt seem to be stable enough ! will move n make noises on rough roads n with bass ! as i use a basstube ! n it wastes sum space on the syd wid its vertical supports !

As salman said, you can put in anything you like, Since this player is slightly bigger, you would have to purchase spacers worth rs.300~, They are also installed in Pakistani Corolla, all Corolla players are coming with AUX and USB option, Depends upon you if you want a new one or a used one, The best option would be to locate somebody who is buying or has a brand new Corolla and is willing to install the DVD player, You can purchase the orignal player from them it would be in almost new condition and would cost around 5-6 thousand.

By any chance can you source them easily? In karachi halaats arnt great im not allowed to goto sheirshah and for this id need to personaly to get the grey color and the exact thing that i want, If you can source these in Peshawar easily let me know maybe we can cordinate something.

Altho curently im the only one using the car, But i feel when i have friends along, i have to raise the voice to high for the people in the back to hear the audio,

dear vitz fellows from lahore area
i recently bought 2010 vitz https://www.pakwheels.com/forums/members-member-rides/210937-bilori-4 and murtaza bhai @chinyoti so kind to give me tips for changing its lubes like engine oil, oil filter, cvt oil etc
for engine oil my one swift friend very happy with cattex fully synthetic 5/40 oil made in thailand so i am also going for same , for oil filter i would go for toyota one.

about cvt tc oil toyota also having 4 liter pack so will go for that
can anyone from lahore side can guide me best toyota workshop from where i can replace above things ?
i am in cantt area but dont have good experince with them for my corolla

murtaza bhai already guided me about cvt oil change that no need to open whole pan ( since not open whole pan so also no need for changing new 2 gaskits for the chamber and "o" ring which sits at the bottom of the drain tube in side the chamber ) as just pan nut enough to drain the oil and than re-fill with fresh oil. i somewhere read, may be on this thread or any other pw thread that cvt filter (jali) cleaning is also necessery

@ahmad_yar, Ahmad bhae, Maybe my bad, But i dont know about the CVT oil filter and i didnt even get it flushed or replaced. Lets see if anybody knows about it.

Guys, i am planing to purchase vitz 2005 mode new shape. one of my friend is selling his one.. I have taken test drive.. one issue that i have noticed that car is vibrating on standby mode. slite push on race make smooth the car..

can you guys suggest what will be the possible issues with vitz?

^^ I have a 1000 cc Vitz 2007. However, i have also driven (not owned though) 1300 cc vitz.
1300 cc has better acceleration, less noisy, more economical. A considerable number of 1000 cc vitz suffer from knocking problem. 1300cc does not have this ailment.
However, 1000cc has better market , better resale than 1300cc

I did clean my car's cvt filter wuz full of dirt n the lower case as well frm inside , there r small magnets in the pan which needs cleaning as it attracts alll the metallic dirt etc ,
