Any updates on ur Vitz?

Stuck on port after changes in ministry tthings have gotten slower. Just got the call from the person saying it would be out by evening but than again I heard that yesterday too so fingers crossed.

One more thing when we are in the market looking to buy a 10 model VITZ what should we keep in mind? Any sort of help would be very appreciated. I don't have a long distance to drive. Car hardly goes outside the city in a year or so plus im not an aggressive driver. What are the pros and cons? Are there any issues in the 10 model VITZ?

Only go for freshly Imported cars so you can get the auction sheet verified. The more time car spends here the more time dealer has to beautify and hide problems. Shahzeb have two Vitz coming next week talk to him. The person I got my Vitz from also got a grade 4 2010 Vitz white color if you want I can give you the contact number.

Never buy from dealers, i wasted my 3 months in finding a 1.3L vitz, 90% of the vitz in Market r accidented or repaired ones i visited each & every showroom in ISB. go for auction or buy it from a person who has self imported it for his own use.

Let me dig out few details for you, will try to get pictures and auction report ... try contacting Sharabi (Shahzeb of JDM Imports) like i said he has two Vitz arriving in the coming week as well.

I have Vitz 1.3L U Package 2008,

whereas iLL-package has additional leather seats that it

rest i am not sure off ... what's the difference between FL and FL II ?

F-Limited II has no RPM meter + no climate control A/C + no heated seats

Incorrect. Remove the drain nut with 6 mm Allen wrench then remove 3 inch tube with same allen wrench and about 2 litres comes out. Put back tube and fill from top bolt marked TC with cvt fluid till it overflows from drain hole. Wait till.slow drip and pur back drain nut and tighten.

This way you will not be able to clean the filter as well as metal particles stuck to three or four magnets on the base of the pan. Mostly these magnets are covered with metal particles and there is no more room for more. These extra particles can move around the transmission if not removed from circulation by these magnets. There is some sludge too after some years of use. Also, you will be mixing 2 litres of remaining dirty /old oil with 2 litres of new oil.

What do you plan to do with the remaining 2 litres of cvt oil left in the can.

Doing the drain / refill with removing the tube as mentioned above removes all the oil in the pan. Even if you remove the pan you will still not get more than 2 litres. The rest is stuck in the torque converter and cannot be taken out.

Also the magnets can hold quite a bit of shavings. If you can get the original gasket and o-ring then by all means go ahead and remove the pan.

i agree, should remove whole chamber, drain old oil, cleaning , and than add new oil
