Performance and comfort wise bit better than Bilori. Specially low end torque better so in summer with AC it don't feel under power. Though it's same engine but seems it's bit better tuned

U must have filled petrol immediately before this travel... It will keep on dropping up to around 20km/l approx...

Yesterday I drove my friends 2005 vitz and his vitz was way more responsive and powerful.

History;
I bought my vitz 2007 about 10 months ago. When I bought it, Car was really dead like it didn't went to speed of 80 km/h with four people. So I got it checked from a mechanic he pointed two problems
1) Excessive gear oil
2) oxygen sensor was blocked.
After these two problems were taken care of, the car was really better. I didn't changed oxygen sensor because it was to expensive, I got it cleaned from a guy in gawalmandi Rawalpindi.

Now again it lacks a bit power please suggest what should I do to get its power back. The odo 74000 kms.

My uncle installed used oxygen sensor for Rs 2500... Previously engine check light was on, that gets off after changing the sensor... Get it rechecked... Plus also get the CAT checked and cleaned if required....

what difference would filling petrol immediately before travelling make?? Its all about the driving style.. I've experienced an avg of 36.5 kmpl on GT Road in a 50 kms run... speed remained between 60 to 80 kmph generally and no quick accelerations. Same 2013 Vitz.

Bro your cat is blocked. Get it cleaned or replace it but don't get it removed.

Yes. Engine check light got off after, cleaning the oxygen sensor. The new sensor was priced about Rs. 40000 and used ones were available at Rs 8000 I guess.

Ok. I will get it checked and replaced. I thought there is something to do with 4 Cylinder (2002 -2004 Model) and 3 Cylinder (2007 - 2010 Model) thing. Sorry, I am not a technical guy and don't know much about cars.

filling petrol will reset the odo meter and it takes time to readjust... 35 km/l is not possible in vitz...

Sir... why should filling petrol reset the odometer?? Can u please further elucidate..maybe I'm unable to understand this phenomenon. Secondly, when I got this average of 36.5 kmpl, I had not filled the tank recently, so this rule doesn't apply on me at least.. there might be some other issue. this average was quite surprising for me as well but this was showing up on the cluster

Vitz new shape is highly fuel efficient these days due to winters [emoji14] I am getting 16+ in city and on long it is giving 21+

Yes...but that fuel efficiency is under normal circumstances... 16+ n 21+ is OK... 36.5 is extraordinary

I tend to agree with u but then what could be wrong with avg mileage calculator?? Why should it show 36.5 kmpl?

On possible if the meter was just reset and after that one was braking or going down the hill whilst the foot was off the accelerator.

Yes... meter was just reset but it wasn't downhill...I was travelling from Attock till Wah Cantt.. roughly 50 kms distance. Its a flat span on GT road.. a little declining towards Wah Cantt probably. I was driving quite slow n relaxed.. odo needle remained between 60-80 most of the time or less..I was driving in the slow lane
