Its available now. where do you live in Peshawar. One Pump is located at Hayatabad Phase 5 and other one is opposite to defence colony on Khyber road.

Salam to everybody.
My Vitz 09's shocks have started leaking. I am feeling it one the road as well. So I want to replace front & rear both. The rear ones are available at Toyota G6 at a reasonable rate but they have quoted 48-50k for the front ones. Can somebody give me an estimate as to what they might cost without Toyota's exorbitant pricing. & also if somebody can suggest anywhere in Islamabad or Pindi where i can find new ones except dealerships?

I have recently bought vitz and i live in the area where high octane is not available.. any member can guide me how to avoid knocking with ordinary fuel... any kind of fuel.. shell.. pso.. total.. attock...

Use of any additive like raising octane number will be helpful or not...?

Total nd shell fuel is good.. no hu octane in my area as well. .

I also have good experience with Total fuel. Make sure you use original additives. The white bottle STP Injector cleaner works wonders. But use it only when you have full tank and sparingly. Find a very reliable dealer and stock up on STP Injector cleaner, like 1000rs for 4 bottles. Usually shell pumps have them at tuck shop.

Another slightly costly but very high quality Injector cleaner is Liqui Moly silver one. But one bottle can be used for two tank fills.

Avoid those octane boosters. I tested them with no effect on engine whatsoever.

High octane fuel is normally regular fuel in Japan or other developed countries and Japan imported cars aren't manufactured with Pakistan specs. There should be a comparison chart for all fluids and fuel equivalents for Japan vehicles in Pakistan.

Total Fuels are best. It will help. But also must clean throttle body and Spark Plugs.

I used Kixx 5w-30 in my Vitz 2005 twice. Very good results, 6K-7K run. Though they are rated for 8K but just be on safe side.

Now a days I have Liqui Moly 5w-30 in my car which I wanted to try. I can't say it's better because it's costly or made in Germany. But I found KIXX to have better performance in 1KR-FE Engine and lower noise.

Fully Synthetic oils with latest specs are good for 0W-20 as they don't change molecule structure too much with temperature.

These cars need qualified technicians who actually know what they are doing. Blindly following what their ustad did 20 years ago doesn't work and makes car perform worse. So it's always a good idea to buy your own oil from a reputable reseller, go to workshop who has experience with OBD values and Calibrations. Just disconnecting Battery to reset ECU is not enough and not a good idea also as ECU learns values over time.

I am currently using shell 5w-40 fully synthetic but i want to try 0w-20 which is the best recommended grade !
