Day 2 (Today)

Some work remaining was done today

1. Gear Oil (CVT) changed and gear oil pan and filter cleaned ( Labor Rs.800)

The gear oil which was drained was very dirty don't know how long it had been there

Gear oil was changed used Toyota CVT TC geniune Oil (4 Litre)

Oil pan was removed and cleaned along with the filter

CVT TC Oil 4 Litre with rubber seal (Gear Oil Rs.5400/- Seal Rs. 1560 both genuine)

After cleaning gear oil filter

The nut used for pouring in the oil - TC written on it

Here goes the oil

The difference noticeable after oil change was gear knob shift has become smother now as it was slightly hard before

2. All brake service (Labor Rs.1000)

All the brakes were serviced

the front disk pads were in good condition but the disk plate surface was not smooth so it was given to kharadia for tool

After the tool from kharadia ( Labor Kharadia Rs.800)

Rear disk drum was Ok but the rear brake shoe were in bad condition so replaced them with genuine toyata brake shoes (Brake shoe genuine Rs.2900)

Difference between the new and old

After servicing the brakes the braking was excellent alhumdullillah no noise as before slight noise while in very slow braking was there and the hand brake is also much better now.

1. Both rear shocks were changed with new genuine toyota shocks (Cost Rs.7000)

4. Wheel balancing and alignment (Total Rs.600)
All the wheels were balanced and alignment was done

5. Both the headlights were removed and cleaned from outside and inside as they had become a bit yellowish after cleaning became like new again. (Labor Rs.1300)



6. All the three viper rubber blades were also changed two front one back. (Cost Rs.370)

7. Cap of Rear Wiper Arm head was installed (Genuine Rs.600)

8. All the 4 wheel caps were cleaned and repainted (labor + Paint Rs.500)

9. Lastly at the end the car was cleaned compound polish and washed and waxed.

10. And finally the Result after two days of work Alhumdulillah

@omer85 : Great explanation of works after purchasing the car. Mashallah a lot of work has been done on it. One question I need to ask is that which engine oil and oil filter was used and how many litres pack.
2ndly: would love to see the pics in first post as unfortunately they are not opening.

Haven't changed the engine oil yet don't know which was used previously but will change it InshaAllah and use original Toyota Oil filter

Wats the total cost? And from where you got the work done?

The total cost for all the work was Rs.29000 in which Rs.7000 was labor and Rs.22000 for parts

The work was done from different places as different shops specialize in different things

Also put in a raxine sheet in the trunk to protect the carpet

Cleaned the engine after all the work done, not full engine detailing just slight cleaning

And here is the interior pic not fully detailed just normal cleaning

@omer85: Rear genuine brake shoes costed me Rs. 3300 but labour costed me Rs. 500. So it balanced off so to say. But looking at the image of your brake shoes, I am satisfied that I got the same ones, with blue marking on them and AO written on the inner panel.

Yup that's on priority list have searched a lot couldn't find new battery holder will have to go to chah sultan rawalpindi for kabli one as new doesn't come original of vitz

Last night my vitz was parked in Gulberg and somebody took away its side mirrors. Its a 2010 model and i beed urgent help from where i can get these side mirrors in a reasonable price or is there anyother option like can we fit some local side mirrors or anything? Help required

From bilal ganj you can find them for 6-7k
And you get them fitted from any denter in lahore.
