@stormBhai, I have seen your contribution to the Vitz thread and even though you have sold your Vitz, I want to know a few things from you personally.

1. I have seen the tyre-recommendation you gave on page 112. I have had 185-65-r14 on my car but now I want to change. However, I have one issue. If I get the 185-60-r14, will the car be able to sustain the load of 3-4 passengers and not hit the body on speed-breakers.

2. What tyres do you recommend going for? I'm really confused. Tyres are bubbling so I need to get a good fix.

is it recommended to use SPACERs ? some expert told me that they shudnt b used.. they disturb the balancing and all.. so better not use it...

Try crossing via zigzag method from speedbreakers. Or else there is no harm in using spacers...but don't go above 0.75 inch...the car looks ugly.

I have vitz. I changed the tyre size from 165/70 r14 to 185/70 R14 ride is perfectly fine no touching to speed breakers so far recommend to all those have the ground clearance issue. I have 2013 model vitz

When you are going for a change, why not go for an upper size like 15". You should have also changed the rims and could install size 185/60 with 15" rims which would look good overall.

I wonder if your present rim width is capable for 185 size.

Already changed bro. As mentioned above; 185/70 R14 made for 14" rim my stock rims is the same size so that i got fit perfectly.

I also have 15 inch alloys with 185/65 combo and its just perfect although there is no harm in using 14" alloys. But Bro don't use steel rims as they get bent over time.

Its my first experience at this forum. I owned Vitz 2000 manual from last 4 month and till now it has been wonderful experience.
Now I am facing couple of issues and want to get rid of them ASAP

1- Pick of my car was good during initial months but slowly i felt its going down day by day (specially driven on CNG). Also I noticed that gear stuck little bit while shifting. I visited to my mechanic and he told me that clutch pressure plates need to be replaced. Now I want to confirm whether i need to replace the plate or it is some other issue???

2- One morning I tried to start my car and switch on the engine but there is dead silence, no current at all, no power locking, no dash board lights etc. I immediately checked the battery in engine room as my first reaction was that i lost it but every thing was OK , I called the electrician and he replaced the fuse and the problem solved but now i have been faced this issue thrice within a month. I need computerized scan of my car. Kindly guide me the reliable source along with estimated cost.

Guys which oil is best for new shape vitz genuine 38k driven?
I was using Mobil one 10w-40 semi synthetic. I think this oil is a bit thick.

Yes, it's thick for this engine. Try 5w-30 this time.
