Really!!! Can 2015 model engine fit in 2006 model vitz???I visited bilalganj yesterday and they told me 63000 for 2010 model 1.0 engine with computer...he was saying you"ll also have to change dashboard wiring if you replace 2006 model engine with 2012 and up models!!!plz guide..

MY Vitz 2006 clocked at 103000 kms on ODO, When it was around 60000 kms on odo, this cold start sound was vey less. now its a bit more, but after 5 mins of driving it gets normal.

Is there any negative affect on engine/transmission for driving the vitz of gear "S". (ignore fuel economy).

No its doesnt affect. S mode just prevent the overdrive ratio.

@Asifali2016, if you drive Vitz in Gear *S", gear oil will heat up fast , so try to run it like 5 mins, but exact time for short run or long run, i cannot comment,

Try use "S" where u need to take over/changing lane, don't over push the vehicle, do moderate 60-80% push, technically you are driving in short gears with high RPM, rest u can imagine, how it effects gear n engine

Hmm,,,So it it better to avoid unnecessary driving in S mode. Did frequently change between D and S has any negative impact.
